@@TT-ee4qp lol do you mean the ordinal scoring system? (commonly referred to as the 6.0 system).. of course i know it. maybe watch the attitude next time buddy, what in gods name even made you think i was referring to the judging/scoring system? Cause i wasn’t. If you knew the answer to my question you could of just answered instead of trying to be a dick or know it all. For the record what led me to ask the question was the lyrics in the program music as lyrics were not allowed in program music for ISU competitions until after the Sochi Olympics in 2014. The lack of any combination jumps and limited number of jumping passes for a long program also doesn’t align with what you saw in ISU long programs at this time.. Maybe YOU are not familiar with this era of skating where there were ISU “amateur” competitions and professional “pro” competitions as well which amateur skaters still competing at ISU events were allowed to compete in after the early 1990’s, these events generally had less rules then ISU events and that freedom could sometimes allow for more creativity and artistry but also watered down technical content.
@@mattcastg5170 So what's your point ? 😁 Actually, the Russian girls today all got hurt by the jumps and retired one by one. The ISU raised the age limit to 17 , which means the Russian girls today all should go to the kid's Olympics with their Disney Cartoon program. 😇😇😇
@@TT-ee4qp huh what are you talking about? i wasn't making any points at all.. not about Russian girls or the pros and cons of the system of today vs the system of the past. All i was doing was trying to explain to you why I believed this was NOT an ISU event and it had nothing to do with the scoring system, obviously all of the scoring during Michelle's era was done under the ordinal 6.0 system (though some "pro" competitions judged on a 10.0 scale).
