Singing Michelle at the Olympia in Paris in front of a mostly French audience must be such a buzz for Paul.What a wonderful audience,what a concert.The ones that got to see it were very lucky.Thank God you can get a taste of the atmosphere on the Tube and this is from one quarter of the best Band ever.
For my daughter Michelle age 22. Just moved to San Diego. I miss you so much. I didn't realize you were leaving Oregon to California. !!!!! I will always LOVE YOU FOREVER !! All these years I have been waiting for you to finish high school before WE could have more contact and communication. THEN I didn't want to bother you much while you were in college at PSU - Portland State University and working. I am so proud of you !! Then u moved in with my mom to save $$. I didn't know you were NOT still attending college to graduate at PSU in Oregon. I am so sorry I didn't know you were moving far sway and I didn't spend much time with you lately and definitely would not have went camping the weekend you moved. I wondered why you gave me that special long, nice and tight hug that last night when I left mom's. You know me better than that... I would have been way more emotional and would have spent as much time with you as I could that weekend and for weeks before. Getting used to the idea. Giving help and advice and asking lots of questions about your friends, new people, new place to live. What your plans were. How you liked college and lots of stuff we needed to catch up on. I've had retirement money for two years. I want to go places and do things with you. I wanted to get to know my grown up daughter but also gave you space and time to go to school and work. I have not paid rent or spent much on food as I've had shelters and food card from state assistance. Wish you had let me help with tuition etc. It was so great with you at mom's lately to see you more. To be with us (girls) more. At Holidays... Thanksgiving.... Christmas. Wanted to be around for your birthday's. Wanted to shop and get nice gifts. Wanted to go places like the beach or camping or anything. Meet up with Amber all 3 together again. Visiting laughing playing games. Amber, you, me and Grandma go to Wyoming to visit our relatives in Laramie. Show you girls Yellowstone Park and maybe even go to the Grand Canyon . I've never been there before. Anyway now I dream of you showing me around San Diego. The Zoo. SeaWorld. The Redwood Forest. So I still can visit you hopefully. And talk to you on the phone and text and stuff. You and your sister are the MOST IMPORTANT of all and anything to me in my life. And in the WHOLE WORLD. So please let's keep in close touch and never forget how much both my girls mean to me. You can tell me or ask me anything. I knew a girl named Michelle. But she changed her name..she had to, a bad man was after her... I wish she could have kept it... Her mother gave her that name. & I love this beautiful song... It is as beautiful as she is.

he voice was still good here and we should all be grateful that he still reminds us of of how magical the beatle songs still are today.unfortunately more recently his voice has gone and,as a beatle fan,would like him to call it a day now and hung his hoffner up.he well into his seventies now and its about time he calls it a day.we have his recorded concerts to look back at and enjoy his talent when he could offer it 100%.thanks for all Paul,take a rest now mate.
This is not the first time Paul has appropriated other people's melodies. He always said he played the solo in Michelle and never mentioned that the solo was written by George Martin and the chorus was by John. Thus Michelle should be credited as Lennon-McCartney-Martin. By the way, Martin's solo became the most popular fragment of the song in arrangements for orchestras.
