I think it's the only way most of the content creators know how to have a conversation with each other. Or it's a double dip meta. could be both of course.
It being the meta seems most likely considering reactions show up in search results before the original. Plenty of times I've used a reaction video to get to the original as it was faster. @@mildlydazed9608
@@ErikPT yes that too. But even when the topic is explained to her she cleanly shows frustration and embarrassment at how often it’s related to “pa pa pa”.
The cursing part shows more about religion than anything. Indonesia very Muslim. Puerto Rico very Catholic. Japan very agnostic with the lightest touch of Shinto and Buddhism.
13:41 most countries have something like Santa Claus as well. A certain part of Japan also has Namahage. Pretty certain a simple one of orphanage is also common in many places around the world.
So funny hearing about people not learning about it or learning about it from parents when I went through sex ed 3 times in 6th, 7th, and 9th grade in public school
21:45 my friends parents told him this when he was a kid, so at school durring recess, id walk outside and he'd be looking at the sun saying "im ok, i ate all my food"..... he's blind now :)
I walked in on my parents once. I don't remember how old I was, but I'm pretty sure I was a teenager. Thankfully they were under the covers though, but I knew either way ^^ Could not get out of there fast enough
All of these sort of stories are always funny but make me mad at the same time. The things parents do and say to their kids is so screwed up. It's amazing to me how often kids end up mostly okay despite it all. I grew up watching movies that had the hidden childbirth scenes so that was never a question. The only question I remember is what women have and the answer was just "a hole" so from that I just assumed correctly even if I didn't know much detail. Cursing was just said to be something only adults can say, among other adults preferably. I don't know if it was even my parents that talked about taking the lord's name in vain. If so it wasn't a huge deal. They listened to rock music. I didn't even hear about the Satanic Panic crap until a few years ago on the internet. I can't exactly quantify when I stopped believing in God if I ever did because I have a terrible memory. I was at least always agnostic because I do remember some internal thoughts that I would have at church when I was really young: "How does the concept of going to heaven or hell make sense when right and wrong depends on where you grew up and what religion you follow?" "Why did God let his son die like that?" "They can't all be bad, why is God killing so many people (the flood, the plagues, the passover) in these stories that everyone likes so much?" I don't even remember why I went so far into typing about this now so I'm sorry. But I figure I'll still post my comments on the subjects from the video anyway.
I am still puzzled by people lying to kids about it ... I remember I knew most of the rough ideas in kindergarten. I cannot remember ever not knowing, but I do remember knowing stuff then... I think I read it in a picture encyclopedia about how stuff works? Like machinery, biology, ... They were clear, nice diagrams - no need for understanding text... - I could be remembering completely wrong, though... But if you leave out details, I really don't think there is any issue with a child knowing... - Well, I am from Europe, so ...
As the oldest sibling, they bought those scientific books for children how babies are made & born. It’s not difficult or awkward to just tell the truth no matter how young
When your mom doesn't want to explain the process of baby making just says your got FedExed to you dad and me and your sibling was UPSed. And your cousins got USPSed.
If you're going at it and all of a sudden you have a little cheer leader do you just commit to it and cross the finish line cheering or something? Cue joke about finishing first.
My mom said skin contact between a man and a woman would cause pregnancy... so I thought they never had sex because that's dirty and they are very religious... Thinking back on it, sure it is a type of skin contacting some other tissue... but she did not tell me the whole story and we never got to it in Biology class.
As a Christian, it hurts so much seeing other people like parents lying about Christianity to their children. Also as a Norwegian when j cursed, my parents where like "Hey! Don't say words like that, they are bad!" They knew it was my dad's fault for cursing around us. I did end up stopping eventually when I met other kids telling me how they were told it was illegal and stuff.
I learned from a stupid joke when watching Dumber and Dumber 2 when I was like 9 or 11 or something. Told my mom and she thought I already knew. I mean she did have this keychain depicting certain actions, I was just oblivious and thought the movement was like a funny fidget. So I kinda just knew the basics of that goes in there, learned a lot more than I should've about it around middle school age
