Since the 2nd half against Penn St this has been a completely different team. If they would have figured out the offense and defense prior to that I truly believe Michigan would be undefeated right now. I think they could beat Wisconsin and Penn state no doubt if they played a rematch next week. Very proud of the turn around to the season so far.

@@shanedavis3418 uh, one top 10 team and another top 15 team? Yes we would be happy. It's very difficult to beat Ohio state, especially if they let people who weren't eligible to play play. Little cheap shot there, but the point is Ohio state is at the pinnacle of football right now. Michigan still gotta get there, I think any Michigan fan would be happier with a 11-1 possibly 12-0 record if they beat Ohio state than a 9-3 possibly 10-2 record before bowl games.

The officials are full of crap forgiving number 7 Black for Michigan an unsportsmanlike penalty. Other players were posing after catches and they didn't get a penalty. It a dumb rule that should be eliminated.

The others' penalties do not forgive number 7's own penalty. But I agree that there should be consistency. That wasn't a scoring play. Looks to me like counting one's chickens, and that's never a good look. It's also never a good look to ignore one's teammates' contribution to one's success. That was a well-thrown pass, and it would have looked better for the receiver to run back to the QB and pat him on the ass or something. I hate to break it to that receiver, but this is a team game.

As long as I do it as a reply and not a separate comment, I do not apologize for that, because maybe the individual commenters that I disagree with can change my mind. Am I somehow wrong in this? But in any case when I played soccer and hoops in high school back in the 80's we praised our teammates as opposed to these players and their self-aggrandizement. But in any case, Patterson had a great game.

Ronnie Bell is an incredible surprise! He did not stand out on paper at the beginning but he is very very good! Someone below said he might be our best weapon. Hard to say for sure considering Nico and DPJ but look at this block right here: 5:14 top of screen. Amazing!!! He is a an absolute steal as far as recruiting goes. What a great find! Go Blue!

Robert Small pancake block from a wr. I think the best play in Michigan’s playbook right now is that swing pass to bell. The wrs block for it so well and bell catches it and runs the route so smoothly it’s basically an automatic 5 yards at the very least.

Steelx X Michigan was 5-7 and lost to Rutgers before him. He got a rough team and has recruited well, if it wasn’t for some shady officiating, Michigan probably would’ve beaten OSU in 2016. It took Dabo 7 years to beat South Carolina, now look at Clemson.

I'm going to be the first to say...Michigan will BEAT ohio state; #1 it's set up perfectly to ruin their season; #2 it is reminiscent with the same stakes in the balance when Bo beat Woody that started the rivalry; #3 in 1993, 1995 and 1996 they came into the game undefeated with their ass on their shoulders #4 Who can forget that they ran up the score up last year in Columbus; #5 THEY ARE IN THE BIG HOUSE AND REVENGE WILL BE SERVED COLD!!!

The UM wide receivers are LITERALLY more talented than any of any 3 some or 4 some set of Wrs in the NFL. It is startling how Tarek Black, Peoples-Jones, Bell, and Collins, were all so under-utilized for so much of the season. Had the coaching staff came to its senses earlier UM would be undefeated. There is almost zero reason why UM should not be passing the football at least 50 times every game. This is a TEAM that should be 10-0 and ranked #1 but the stubborn and stupid reason earlier in the season not to pass the ball coupled with Patterson's poor decisions and turnovers and stupid sacks all combined to give Michigan 2 unnecessary losses. What a TEAM. Now.

I would like that but right now I would give Michigan 1 in 4 odds or about 25% chance to win. Michigan has to play like they did today and even better to challenge OSU. And we also need OSU to not play as well as they have been. I would rate Michigan a 7 out of 10 and OSU a 9 out of 10. But if Michigan plays like they are an 8 and if OSU makes mistakes and drops to an 8 anything can happen.
