UCLA introduced Mick Cronin as The Michael Price Family UCLA Men's Head Basketball Coach on Wednesday morning. Cronin has become the 14th head coach in program history.
I am a Cincinnati grad and a Cincinnati fan. UCLA is getting a great coach. He was always under appreciated here. People here never thought he could fill Huggins spot. UC fans will now see how good of a coach he is as UCLA trends upward and UC takes a giant step backwards.
wow! what an amazing and classy comment from a tough cincy fan who just lost a great coach. i'm glad you mentioned how hard it was for him living under huggin's shadow which you can imagine the shadow john wooden puts on coaches here. as a UCLA alum, i cast that shadow away and welcome Cronin with huge arms and no expectations. i think we at UCLA need to really and truly turn the page of Wooden and just play the game one game at a time and appreciate whenever we win games and any silverware. that's how it started with Wooden when UCLA was nothing but a satellite campus of Berkeley. We were the Gonzaga of yesteryear. Rock, hope you guys pick up a solid coach and look forward to the next cincy-UCLA game.
Hope you Enjoy playing 10 cupcakes and conference play. He doesn't challenge his players during the year, which will always cost you in the tournament. Check the schedules they played over the past 12 years.....comical. Scared to death to play anybody. That's just the facts. When you're the favorite in 30 of your 32 games every year......that's a problem. Challenge your team with a tough schedule and it will usually pay dividends in the tournament.
Apple portable device at its source of battery power does not have parity bit. Only way to fix is put the necessary error correcting (AI) chip, chips, chip set at output; Samsung and LG OLED screen. Neither the source parity bit cannot be fixed nor by Chinese android manufacturer. Jaishoon Couplar
Tony Bennett lost to a 16 seed. Now he has a national title. I don't put much stock in how far a coach made it in the tournament. A lucky break here or there and he could've made a final 4.
UCLA is commonly recognized that the #`1 Public University in the Nation! On top of that, as of April 18, 2019 UCLA has won 116 NCAA Championships. As of that same date Michigan has won 35. So, UCLA is not a bad place to be, right? Most importantly, thanks for sending Wilton Speight UCLA's way. He's undefeated versus USC. One cannot say that about Troy Aikman, or Josh Rosen, or Tommy Maddow or even of Gary Beban, UCLA's sole Heismann Trophy winner. I respect Michican's academic and athletic tradition, but., to be honest, Michigan is not in UCLA's class. To be fair, the one thing that Michigan can hang its hat on is that it is 8-3 versus UCLA in football.
