God damnit, EVERY FUCKING TIME NOW WE HAVE TO START MAKING IT ALL OVER AGAIN, THIS IS A THREE WEEK PROCESS YOU KNOW, IT REQUIRES ABOUT 14 TONS OF DEMON GUTS SO GET THE FUCK TO IT!!
As a car audio installer/fabricator for 15 years (+) ... This is true 99.99% of the time. Most people don't know what true sound is... And they're missing out. BIG time. 🤘😂
I heard Mick Gordon’s work in Killer Instinct and thought he was amazing then. The DOOM soundtrack though is pure LEGENDARY status. If ID makes a new Quake, I hope we have a collaboration with Mick Gordon and Trent Reznor.
Well, with the way Bethesda treated him for the Ancient Gods DLC (and straight up replaced him when Gordan tried to reason with them) I don't personally see any further collaboration happening.
The part from 4:00 to around 5:40 is my favorite. I cant describe the feeling I get from it. The rest of the track does a good job of making you feel like you are hopelessly lost in a martian wasteland and slowly dying of exhaustion. I love it.
Best memory of this game that I have: I went on a fucking rampage and was tearing shit apart in game, using the barrels and the shotgun. Then when it was over I found the Berserker power up.
best part is that this happened to me in Eternal Mars core in nightmare dificulty, the room with 2 muncubus. after ripping the whole room, goes below bridge, and berserker was there like "hello there"
As a TF2 simp, I can confirm, we do have a strong rivalry, and will tear you apart. Not that we don't think overwatch is particularly bad, but TF2 is Eternal.
Playing through eternal right now on Hurt Me Plenty. This music just triggers something else. I can't go ballistic in any other shooter like I can in doom. The combat loop is just so beautiful. I'll go from being surrounded by demons and heavy demons at 2 health to being surrounded by corpses with 75% health and max armor with shotgun in my right hand and demons spine in my left hand and nothing but my subtle reflection in my visor to remind me that I've gotta keep hunting.
Try playing on Nightmare. Sometimes you'll get these moments in Nightmare where the demons are difficult and almost impossible to beat... But you're better.
Mick Gordon, your soundtrack is too good. I must now summon the Dark Lord of the Underworld into our dimension to compensate for the spacetime curvature of your soundscape. I hope you're happy because now we are all doomed to a dimension of suffering out of which not even light can escape. At least we'll have some sweet tunes...
this soundtrack will forever be one of my favourite OST's, not just because i love heavy fuckin music, but the fact that the music added a whole new level of awesome to rippin out demon guts
I must admit, the Rated M phase of videogames lost it's ability to be brutal, terrifying and Hardcore all at the same time. Metal ass music, brutal kills to demons of Hell and levels of hardcore action that leave you frustrated, but begging to be dominant. DOOM 2016 and DOOM: Eternal will forever be my favorite games for when I'm feeling frustrated and need to release some pent up anger and aggression. *Rip and Tear, until it is done!!*
