The one demon who didn't fear the Doom Slayer, but stood its ground to fight. It was a pleasure killing once more.

It was just so fucking badass how, when the Cyberdemon threw you out into the arena, The Doom Slayer didn't fall over. Instead, you see him clench his fists and keep himself on his feet whilst sliding backwards. The Cyberdemon growls at you, and the first thing you do is pull out your Gauss Rifle as he shoots rockets everywhere and *oh my god this was SO AMAZING.*

I don't care what the most viable way is -- you've gotta fight the Cyberdemon in a rocket duel. Anything else is just wrong.

The track is fantastic and all, but I would be far better if it was called "Shoot it Until it Dies".

Fuck, Mick. After hearing your talk about the "hierarchy" you came up with when composing, I can't NOT hear each element and the obvious reasoning behind it. Not a single industrial or traditionally metal element in this. Just lumbering, dangerous "Organic" sound with vocals and strings coupled with an assault of aggressive high tech modular synth noise. Brilliant my man.

This is the one with the pentagrams and satanic symbols hidden all over the place, love it...

all the themes before this maje you feel like an unstoppable murder machine, ripping everything in half. this one flips the script and makes you feel like the one about to be ripped open

When I first saw the Cyberdemon in this version, I got the same fear and goosebumps I did when I was 5, playing my Dads copies of Classic Doom . And the music gave me an adrenaline rush through the whole boss. Good show! Good show indeed!

I think in the next game you should have to fight a cyberdemon and a spider mastermind at the same time as some kinda demonic tag team match. Using the crucible sword.

I'd like to point out that unlike most Demons the Cyberdemon is the only enemy who doesn't attack the Doomslayer upon seeing him. Instead he hesitates, and inspects the Slayer as if he remembers him... It's the little things that matter right? Edit: I'm half tempted to like this comment myself, just to ruin the 666 thing.

Probably my favorite boss track in the game. Hearing this and E2M8 back to back honestly feels like they blend together perfectly - this track and the slow beginning of E2M8 have such similar time signatures that they would sync up well

Mick deserved better for this effort. You can tell he puts his soul into every piece of music. Would be an honor to have engineered and mixed for him.

3:20 is fucking unhinged, like talk about insanity in music. I like to think this plays when fighting the Cyberdemon, the demons of hell initially are rooting for him but as you continue to whoop his ass, they change and start root for you, like a gladiator fight

You know after getting into warhammer 40k recently, I shudder to think how much more dangerous the doomslayer would be upgraded with space marine modifications.

I think this was the only time I actually got scared playing doom, I was not expecting him to yank we through the door like that😂

When I first played doom 2016, it was about three months ago after I finished eternal. I had just gotten into the franchise, and I heard many good things about this big boi. When the time came when I eventually fought it, all my research into dooms lore made me so excited and it finally paid off... So fun.
