These were the Good Old days..Yeap that is me the back up singer in the middle. We filmed this at the Roxy in LA ...and a little known fact is Dave Stuart of the Eurythmics actually directed this video.
Jeff Beck was not only a man of immense gifts, he was a great guy loved by everyone. You made the world a better place. Good for you sir. Rest in peace ❤
@@davidmorris1978 Thats Simon Philips. He said he had amazing tapes of that band in his house or studio that burned down. Its a shame cuz he was pretty sure his were the only copies. Mick and Jeff were a dream come true for me back then. Its too bad they couldnt sync up for a full tour together.
This video was filmed at The Country Club, a Rock and Roll venue in Reseda, CA....I was head bartender...I had the treat of meeting Jeff Beck and Mick Jagger, afterwards! RIP JEFF
Amigo de lima. Antes de que Jeff Beck toque la segunda parte de la guitarra mick dice una frase que no figura en las letras de Google. No se entiende bien. La sabes? En el minuto 2:16 del vídeo Algo así como once more.. no se que más
@@flyingburritobro68 Wandering is the best. Goddess was the worst. Although its Mick Jagger so they all have there moments of utter brilliance. The man is a melody machine with a nack for great catchy chorus.
This tune kicks ass as the opener for Primitive Cool, it was the reason I bought it. Hard to believe it was in '87, where ever does the time go? *LOL* Very cool he has Jeff Beck on lead.
Pretty much the only solo Jagger track where he got out of his own way, and let it breathe. Whoever directed this video did a FANTASTIC job catching the energy in the room.
I didn't listen to Mick's solo song's for years thinking it just won't be the same without the rest of the stones and I was glad they got back together but then I started listening to his songs on utube and it.just blew me away and such a songwriter and performer wow even thyi loved mick.i guess o just judged it wouldn't be as.good wow like Jerry Hall said,I always can't wait to.hear.micks.new song's he's such a poet and a genius I second that I have nothing but respect for the man and to see him now I'm great shape still rocking what can o say that hasn't been said? Love ya Mick nobody can ever fill your shoes!!!
I forgot Jeff played on this album. I remember listening to this tune in my 20s. It was fun. A little over the top by today's standards, but 'today' doesn't really have standards.
Used to play the Casanova Smoother than the Bossa Nova Love to play the Romeo But I never need a home to go to I'm so greasy, I'm so slick. I leave no traces I just get out quick I use cheap champagne Brief affairs and backstage love But a love like this Is much too good To ever throwaway a love like this Is much too good To ever throwaway I've played the fool I've played the clown I'm an easy lover When I come to town It's a fashion It's a buyers market To bust it up Before it's really started I'm incurably romantic If you leave me I'll go franticWith cheap champagne Brief affairs and backstage love But a love like this Is much too good To ever throwaway Yes a love like this Is much too good To ever throwaway If the glove still fits Don't call it quits Don't throw your life away Cause a love like this Is much too good To ever throwaway Used to play the Casanova Faster than a roller coaster I gave you the best years of my life Don't you kick me in the gutter Cause a love like this Is much too good To ever throwaway Yes a love like this Is much too good To ever throwaway Yes there's many a slip Between a cup and lip Don't let it slide away Cause a love like this Is much too good To ever throwaway Come on come on... 😅❤
