Yeah this was after the Lupe Fiasco x Royce beef that started on their podcast. Royce was first with: Silence of the Lambda Lupe responded with: SLR 3.5 The podcast never had a new episode and Royce never responded because he got ripped apart. Mickey is talking about RJ Payne and Ransom, two dudes you guys will be blown away by in terms of punchlines. They said something in an interview about being the best and instead of rhyming about it, Royce just started running his mouth on his podcast. That turned into “let’s do friendly beef tracks”. Then Royce just proceeded to make that ‘lyrical miracle’ Silence of the Lambda track that sounds nothing like a diss track at Lupe, just rhyming with a couple jabs at him. And what’s even crazier is then Mickey raps in the cadence of RJ Payne and Ransom after he says he is gonna “borrow their styles”

Royce was also throwing shots at Lupe behind the scenes and tried to say Lupe wasn't a lyrical killer like that and was just a nerd. Clearly, someone who didn't know Lupe's background. Lupe freestyled and killed him.

Need to to this beef from the start. Royce called lupe a bitch on live and told him to get in the ring. Lupe hung up and went live off the dome for 15 mins. Royce took a week to come up with silence of the lambda . Lupe responded 2 hours later with slr 3.5 Steve jobs then mickey dropped this. Royce got in his feelings and took the L . Was dope at the time Royce didn't know how lupe gets down he's top tier and Royce aint

Sometimes, what messes me up about Rap? It’s them super subtle jabs that be the most layered I don’t subscribe to it, I’m the definition, the opposite Chain punching, you do Tetris I do column shit Get stoned w/ a great structure until your mind’ll lift/Monolith There’s a fundamental difference between subscribing to something. And BEING the thing subscribed to As well as Tetris is momentary, a temporary feeling You line things up and a moment later it disappears. Like eating cotton candy Columns? Stand the test of time And then ending off on the Monolith bar. But everything before the punch, made it hit THAT much harder I feel, as a writer myself, almost nobody picks up that subtle shit😂

These Goat tier Battle Rappers such as Mickey Factz, Loaded Lux, Daylyt etc can DEMOLISH any Industry Rapper no matter who he is... Even if that rapper is god level like Black Thought / Eminem themselves the outcome would have been the same; total lyrical slaughter... It's what they do after all it's their field and the victim who is Royce in that case better not respond because he will only add to his misery, shit would go from slaughter to a whole overkill.

Don't listen to the Lupe stans they can get a little bit extreme sometime. I'm a huge lupe stan too but I can't deny Royce quality as a lyricist his is definitely top tier but Lupe is just a few levels even higher. If rap had 100 levels Lupe would be at 200 and Royce at 95.
