Royce has Eminem on speed dial, a guy well known for and still perfectly capable of creating brutal diss tracks and he thought this 7 MINUTES filler filled "diss" was gonna do something. Even Em knows when to tone down the technicality and be straight forward, to the point. It sounds as if he had this song prewritten already for a radio show freestyle, and just decided to add a couple extra lines to it thinking it would make it sound more "diss" like😂 like if he wouldve went of flex or some shit and spit this over a better beat, it wouldve been straight 🔥!

Nah but this seems kinda weird. If the conversation that sparked it all was about who’s the best rapper, they didn’t have to drop disses like this. Whole beef, at least between these two songs, seems like Royce is aiming at being the best and Lupe’s aiming at Royce. I think Royce is absolutely capable of dropping a monstrous diss track, but he didn’t do that here for whatever reason. Lupe punished him here, but i think the situation changes if Royce is coming with a straight diss and not a technical display. Royce 100% more technical with his track, Lupe 100% better with the beef on his. Super weird situation.

The Royce diss was whack, not just it's too complicated for average listeners as it mimics Em's style but accusing Lupe for being an uncle tom 'You respect white people more than you love black people', implying that Lupe is a handicapped, that line of 'we gon' do this for Kanye' implying support for Ye, and 'I like my crackers dead and white' is race bars, is Royce being racist to white and black people and falsely accusing Lupe whilst showing support for Ye. Lupe won way too easy. I mean he is a great lyricist, but Royce got nothing, literally nothing of value in his lyrics. Just a bunch of rhymes and flows without content.

I think Royce was setting up his song as bait. He finessed on the track and dropped a whole vibe layered with technical prowess (as Lupe called out). He showed a position of strength. Then Lupe drops his impeccable freestyle flow and goes for the throat with directs that have doubles and triples. Lupe was able to capture the minds of the casuals and the hip hop heads which is amazing. But I think it sets up Royce to really respond now. If this ended right now, Lupe wins despite how great Royce's track was. The real W is everyone who loves hip-hop/rap. But I don't think it stops here (I hope it doesn't). I'm a fan of both and look forward to Royce's response. Let's see if I'm right.

To me I heard the entire diss track as him both proving himself as a better lyricist and a better overall rapper while letting lu know this ain’t what he want.
