Remember everyone! As one toon to another; if you see a grumpy guy in a suit, remember to throw a custard cream pie at them to smile! Ahehehehooo hahahehoo!
Even with all the current criticisms of Disney, specifically in their management devision, they still can make a pretty dang good refurbishment of a classic land, and one that was this long overdue. Also, I absolutely love toon town at disneyland. Probably the best of the lands imho.
I agree! Honestly, I think Jessica Rabbit looks good in a detective outfit. Brings out her figure w/o exploiting her…of course, that girl could make a feed sack look good!
@@rosiebaybie6245 as a Roger Rabbit fan, I don't mind the idea of Jessica Rabbit becoming a detective either. It may not fully work on the ride, even with a new storyline, but the basic premise has potential for some interesting ideas for stories.
20:41 I just realized those statues are the 2017 Ducktales reboot renditions of Huey, Louie, and Webby! I wonder how they'd explain when the Huey, Dewey, and Louie meet and greets are around? (and I think they should bring Webby's old meet and greet out of retirement as well)
i remember the reboot. i remember watching it's first several episodes and loved it. i quit watching bc i'm lazy. it really does bring back good times when the world was normal and we all got along. i wish i could go back.
Mickey's Toontown looks just like new. My dad thought that it would be torn down and never ever reopen to the public anymore. I guess that he was wrong about it.
I may not have seen the ENTIRE video, but the new additions here look real fun. I'm glad they put in Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway and it's queue looks really well done. Plus all the extra details around the place really give it that feel of a fully-functioning cartoon town and I'll also give credit for putting in easter eggs from some of the older Disney shows like Rescue Rangers and Goof Troop.
It’s great to see people having fun in these trying and troubled times. I wish I was there! Or in New York City, watching The Phantom of The Opera on Broadway. Have a wonderful day!
The only change I'm not sure about is using the Ducktales reboot versions of Huey, Dewey, and Louie on Donald's boat. I mean I get that the reboot was really popular, but it ended over a year ago and in comparison the original designs of the triplets are timeless (they had been used for decades after all). But it's a very minor detail, I still can't wait to go to Disneyland and especially see Toontown again. Plus I did read the summary for that Darkwing Duck crossover episode (the one Gosalyn makes an appearance in), and it did hint that the Ducktales reboot is actually a different dimension with the original Ducktales (and related, like Goof Troop) still existing. So it can be assumed that this Huey Dewey and Louie are simply dimension-hopping and decided to have fun in the original Disney Toon dimension. And otherwise Toontown looks amazing and I'm really glad they kept the Roger Rabbit Car-Toon Spin and Gadget's Coaster rides, as well as the original look of most of the decor.
I am so happy Toontown is back AND that itis the same as it was before (with fascinating new features!) I really want to go there someday❤, especially since Toontown in Disney World in Florida closed
I remember asking my dad to pleeeeaseee take me to Disneyland because toon town was opening and I so badly wanted to go ... mind you this was 90 something...2 weeks later my dad made it happen ...toon town will forever along w Disneyland hold a spot in my heart..my dad passed away 3 years ago n when I think disney I think of my dad and what awesome childhood I had thanks to him.
im extremely exited to experience this in person next week! im going with my family for my cousin's birthday. we haven't been in at least 7 years, so im super stoked to finally go back. Toon Town looks amazing with its retheme!
18:57 the only complaint i have about the transformation is i don't like how they made minnie's house purple since usually she wears pink (or red with white polka dots)
I really like that they upgraded toon town, I remember this yeasterworld video where the guy said that toon town was dying and all the good attractions were gone due to safety pro cautions, and the one over at the magic kingdom was dead and replaced with a dumbo themed area. I’m glad Disney disided give toontown an upgrade
It's kinda stupid that Disney has to be overly-sensitive enough to censor Jessica Rabbit's design due to it "degrading women" yet it's okay when Fire Emblem designs some of its characters in a sexualized way like that (Yes, I know the FE games are intended for older audiences, but the censorship is moreso because it "degrades women" than actually being age-appropriate.)
You know it’s for mature audiences, produced by a completely different company and country… yet still chose to compare it? Why do you want it so badly?
@@newvision4l314 No, but I heard everyone say that that's the reason why they're censoring her design. And it's not that I want the other version back so badly, it's just that I think their reasons for changing it are stupid.
