When the adventure is the workout it's always new and exciting. Making time for adventures is a skill we should all remember to practise. Thanks for the reminder.
Thanks brother. Im not so sure, feel like thats a good manipulation tactic to get people to agree to the system we have as though it is fair when it doesn’t seem fair from the jump.
Thanks for the video Tim. I would love to see a gear list in the description of the products you used, I know RU-vid hikers put a link to each one that they can earn commission on that you could benefit from. Great vid thanks again
Used to do a similar thing in Shrewsbury. Its almost an ox bow river there. So we'd get in dingys, right near my house. Full of beers. ( not a fitness goal ). And float all day, stop off at a riverside pub, then end up almost right back where we started. It did go wrong one time though. Only two of us floaters made it to the finish line. But passed out. Woke up next to a rapid, luckily the rope between our blow up dingys caught a tree. Way downstream ffrom the exit point. And dark and and late at night. Had to spend a long time in the hot shower once we got home to stave off hypothermia. As we had to abandon ship and swim to shore in the freezing water and walk home soaked. Basically the unwholesome version of this mission. No bs nearly dyed.
What a great idea! Made me start thinking about potential micro adventures around my house. I like the idea that in summer the workout should be secondary to the activity. I often feel like that too.
Awww, I enjoyed your documentary about your micro adventure. ☺️ Boat looks fun (love the khaki colour!) and so cool to just pop to the Nature Gym around your house to soak up the sun and get some movement… Have fun in Scotland 🏴 (PS I’ve never voted either!!)
I love this! Nice to see the route you were talking about after talking about it on thursdays call. I might have to pick one of those kayaks up soon haha
