Micro-camper test VW caddy and Citroen Berlingo

Hi John, we got the barn door awning from uk custom covers, it’s a great product 👍.

The price can vary so much, depending on so many things. Material, labour and extra thing your personaly think you might want or need can bump up the price. We will cover costs in a future video. Merry Christmas

We have lots of projects planned for next few weeks. The next camper will likely be a Volkswagen Caddy Maxi which we have given a few sneak peaks off in some previous videos.

Hi John, our current set up is just insured as a van I’m not saying that’s the right or wrong way and I think it’s completely upto you how to insure your vehicle. But for us the amount we have spent for the conversion doesn’t warrant a higher insurance if that makes sense?. I think if I were to be spending more on the conversion I would definitely insure it as a campervan not just a van. Personal preference I suppose 👍👍, thanks for the comment 👍

Don't think we have answered that, the frame is built using just 2x1 timber, the slats are 4x1. They are surprisingly strong but also makes it lightweight too.

Thanks, we got the foam from a company called Foam2Home made to order size and order upholstery from ebay. My mother then did the rest.

You'd be surprised as I stayed in the Caddy was very comfortable and I'm 5'10.

They are both very similar in length in terms of the bed, however the caddy is slightly wider because of being able to build over the wheel arches.

We are still very new to RU-vid and we are currently using just an iPhone to record and edit all our videos. We promise to get better and we are looking at investing in to better equipment.

We do apologise about the audio the weather wasn't helping a great deal and still using very basic equipment. We are hoping to upgrade.
