Boy o boy does that bring back childhood memories for me! Those young guys are going to make a LOT of good memories!

Daniel, watching your fishing videos reminds me so much of all the time our family spent fishing when I was growing up and especially reminds me of my Dad who passed away 2 years ago. Fishing was his favorite past time . When he was a kid he used to skip school to go fishing! Lol Thank you for sharing your life with us. It’s so refreshing to see a good, wholesome Christian family enjoying life and spreading that joy to others around them.

I just love watching the boys hang out together. They have such a good time no matter what their doing. Childhood is great!

Awe, those boys are just loving spending the day with you too! Reminds me of when my son was just a little guy and would ask to go fishing, just he & I. One day some teenagers were there showing off & putting him down for his small pole, but it was appropriate for his size really. A older gentleman who was just minding his own business came over to my son and gave him some bait. Told my son to be loud when he cought something so they would look over. Well that must have been magical bait as he started catching fish left & right. Those teens couldn't figure out how he was doing it.I thanked the gentleman for making my sons day and offered to return & replace anything he gave to him. His reply was just watching the joy on my sons face as he showed his mom what he cought was all the reward he could ever ask for. We never did see him again but my son always remembers the kindness he showed and the "Magic Bait" he gave him. I dont know what it was but it smelled like corn and looked like meat. You tell me what it was, lol

Love watch the boy fish. As a women in my 70s , watching your guys take my back to my pan handle day as a child. Thank you

Houston finally kissed a fish 🐟. He just made Jimmy's day! Spent so many hours playing in a creek. Tons of fun and fishing 🎣 and our creek was 1/4 the size of that one. I absolutely love the friendship ( brothers) that Houston and Kobi have. Boys absolutely need to have that one friend who always is his partner in crime.

The fondest memories I have are of my Dad teaching my brother and I to Trout fish. He was a minnow fisherman. He would teach you, guide you, instruct you, but he NEVER cut you a break. And from day one the competition was on. He was an artist with a fishing rod and at the end of the day the weight of his fishing creel never let you forget it. I think the proudest day of my life was the day I bested him at fishing. I was fourteen or fifteen. The only person prouder than me, was my dad. Thank you so much for this video.

I "look like" Jacoby, and with all that is going now in the media, it's a blessing to see kids who look different bonding strongly like this. Love conquers all! Daniel love the creek vids. Just to hear the creek flowing is so relaxing. And I also have ultra light rods. I just bought a new one about 3 weeks ago. What's really fun is catching a large mouth on them and trying not to loose them on light tackle and line. But Kobe is talking more y'all are bringing him out of his shell. And his favorite word is yea. Lol. The creek vids remind me of my child hood. During the summer I stayed on the water and during the winter I stayed in the woods. As a 12 year old I went fishing in a flat bottom boat with my Dad in the Lacassine wildlife refuge with just paddles I threw out my line and the first thing I catch is a 7 ft alligator he pulled us pretty far before I cut my line. Oh those memories I’m now 63 and Dad has been gone more then 18 years now but I look back on all he did with his 6 kids we all have such wonderful memories.

My brothers, myself, cousins and friends would spend the summers at our creek with a rope swing. We rode our horses. atv, motorcycles and snowmobiles. I sure miss those times. ❤

🤔🤔. I was thinking about your last video when y’all took Jacobi out to use his new pole. Since you were raised there what kind of memories do you have of all you did that was just simple country fun. You know all the magical places on the creek at any season and hidden treasures on the land. AND you get to raise your kids where you were raised and maybe remember all the life lessons your dad taught you. Not many people get to raise there kids right where it all began for your family. A lot of history all over where you walk and maybe a lot more stories to share with your kids and now with Jacobi. His eyes are “ginormous” at all he gets to learn and the memories that boy will have to share with all his family simply priceless. My dad loved to fish off many old piers at the ocean and at 3 I was jigging for bait at 4 am......fishing all day and listening to stories salty old men would tell. Gramps loved the drive on dirt roads to the mountains (all paved now) and hiking the rivers and streams of the Sierra Mountains searching for the perfect rainbow trout. He taught me about patience and peace and quiet listening to the winds blowing through the forests always lookin for the big wild life. Let me keep my first trout so gram could teach me how to fry it up along with eggs for the perfect breakfast. Aaahhh that smell through the pines gets me every time. In winter we’d ice fish on those small poles on a frozen pond that’s long gone due to forest fires and over developing. Those two boys are so lucky that you’ve retired now and can really take the time to build even more precious memories with them. And that crazy dog who loved the water and always made sure they were safe flying off that swing. Lots of history and lots of new treasures and lots of time just being a boy in the country.
