I also wanted to reference here as the ramp for mine also does not lower enough to allow a figure to walk trhough. But a cup or lava lamp can work as a flight stand! Closing that canopy is pretty tough, this is definitely one of the most finicky they've released. I'm glad it survived my trek on the plane ride home. I got this as a souvenir on vacation!
They made this accurate to the way the panels remove in the cross sections book for the imperial shuttle. very great attention to detail for these affordable pieces
The way the cockpit closes looks cheap and the fact that one cannot open the ramp properly is an odd design choice. But looks great otherwise! Wold have been cool to get a pilot and imperial officer as additional figures.
Yeah, can't argue that the ramp and cockpit closure are weak points, but when just used for display, we definitely like this one. Actual pilot figures would have been good.
I don't believe this can be easily disassembled. Have seen a couple of people manage to damage/break the insertion tabs on the top wing by removing and reattaching too many times.
