Micro guides can be tricky to work with for a lot of people because of how small they are. I don't really have any trouble with them at all, so I thought I would share how I grind micro guides and also how I wrap micro guides. It may help someone else out of at least give people some ideas that they can modify to suit their own needs. There are a lot of different ways to hold micro guides for grinding or wrapping. Working with micro guides is one of the most asked about topics I see when it comes to custom rod building. If you plan on getting into custom fishing rod building, you are probably going to have to use micro guides for a build at some point. Grinding micro guides and wrapping micro guides doesn't have to be difficult if you find a method that works well for you. The ones in the video work well for me, but if you have trouble with my methods, take a look around online or on RU-vid for different ideas until you find what works best for you! There are a lot of different ways to do just about anything. What works great for some may not work as well for others.
