Microbial Screening (Primary and Secondary)  

The demand for microbial products are increasing day by day. Because they are the only organism in this Earth that can utilized any carbon source for energy generation: From Glucose to Plastic. Such properties are exploited to convert simple low cost materials into profitable final products. But, first they have to isolate and identify from their natural habitat, like soil, from millions of other unwanted microorganisms. Such process is not easy and sometimes unfruitful. So, Microbiologist developed some techniques that are able to isolate and identify those organisms easily. Such techniques are called screening.
