Nice video. To be clear (towards the end of the video), carbapenemases can be on the chromosome or plasmid, but that the recent rise in concerns about carbapenemases are related to ones that are plasmid encoded, particularly KPC.

Great question! Always measure at the most narrow point across an area of no growth.

I was waiting what pattern it is that makes a bacteria as esbl positive. It’s very informative, but the title is misleading at the same time.
