Research shows that psilocybin mushrooms have promising results for mental health support, particularly in reducing symptoms of depression, anxiety and PTSD.
Been microdosing on 1/3 g of psilocybin. 2 days on 1 off. Dosage seems good but thinking I should 1 day on 2 off since the days off have been more interesting. Almost all info and experiences shared here mirror my own experience. Only been doing a month and will continue. Have not done any physadelics in over 15 years but had since mid 1970s. Micro dosing seems like a good tool in the tool box to deal with issues of depression and anxiety I experience. Meditation, exercise and physical activity, nature, good food, nuturing friends, laughter, restful sleep, turning off all the bummer media, hydration all in the tool box.
@@jamesroof6150looking for a source and suffering from depression. Anyway you can help connect ? If you don’t want to name it on here I will send you my Instagram.
Thank you. Very helpful. I didn’t know serotonin was manufactured in the gut. It certainly underlines that nutrition is also a key tool to combat depression and anxiety.
That realization very well may be genuine, though. Questioning it and making a change could be an even more positive than staying. We all have our pace for change that's right for us, though... doing this every 3 days is already a lot of acceleration.
Regarding the IBS I ate a lot of carb' when I was sports men I came across a book "eat right for your blood type I find out that I am blood type O and my worst enemy are grain product and dairy I stopped bread and pasta from my diet and NO MORE IBS
I am on the Fadiman microdosing schedule using 100 mg caps of Shrooms. Today is my 6th dose on this schedule. I take psyche meds, which work to keep me stable. I am finding that those ‘issues’, which are really all are about caring for Self, happen more naturally. I sum up what I am sensing as feeling as more ‘Space’ within me. So nice to feel. 😃
In a talk Fadiman gave at the Science and Nonduality Institute conference (2016), at the end of the talk he quickly said (in summary), "We know there are some things NOT to use mushrooms for - -like anxiety and color blindness - - but they're the exceptions." And I posed the same question as you because elsewhere he talks about all the positive effects it has for anxiety. That he's said the same thing at least twice - - many years apart - - has me concerned. What's wrong with reducing anxiety?
In my experience, psilocybin acts like a stimulant. It can amplify the experience of ordinary everyday living. If you’re in a happy blissful environment, this can be quite beneficial. If you’re in a stressful environment, and/or experiencing an anxious moment, it can amplify this too. Even when microdosing, your mindset is important. That said, over time the experience can alleviate what contributes to the feelings of anxiety.
I’m attempting to reach DR Fadiman and others involved in micro dosage research. My research office was raided in response to my anti Covid activities, and I’m being charged for one sheet of LSD and 4 ounces of mushrooms. I’m an infamous health freedom advocate and have insight into many aspects of the alternative health sciences, which I’m trying to have invested. I’m thinking about challenging the charges in a jury trial and am reaching out to expert witnesses to help me fight these absurd restrictions on human freedom? Anybody out there can direct on where to go I will be forever grateful!
For me I have been.listening to this next field of mycrodosing with psilasibin, etc for a few years now. It sounds.like this really could be The alternative to pharma meds that aren't effective, and make the patient use these meds with No recovery in sight. Mycology seems to be advancing in many ways to allow the people take control of their health and benefit from the rewards.
I always known through my experiences, that psilocybin 'took' you into another demention, or frequency, if only partially. Depending on the size of the dose. I'd love to further my thesis... Second day phenomena, is the correction, and balance of your Shakras...
I would like to be treated with microdosing when it is legal. I am stage 3 cancer patient and the expectation of relief from depression and anxiety is compelling. I don't understand why a natural, not a chemical drug, is not used in treatment for people facing end of life, in the near future. Why deny relief to so many?
I’ve never had alcohol/drugs just cancer treatment. I’m stage four and simply asked my teenagers where to get some mushrooms. I started with a very small dose 30mg and am now on 50mg. My daughter is on 100mg (treatment resistant depression). I bought a microgram scale off Amazon, used my blender and it’s been easy Peezy. I find it been exceptionally helpful for productivity and mood. There has been no ‘high’. Do you research, there are a few different varieties/strains and you may NOT want to start off with some thing like a ‘Penis Envy’. I’m using the strain B+ and my son said he tried ‘Hillbilly Cubensis’ which was also gentle.
I did try a lot of different supplement for my tinnitus in my left ear with a little improvement OK I said let's go for the golden teacher so I had a 10 mg dose and for a hole day and the next absolutely no ringing in the ear I took it once a week for 5 weeks however I still have the problem, may be I will go the way you say every 3 - 4 days for a month and see what happens .
I don't see that at all. I think there are some times where he seems... "snippey", and it's only him poking fun at certain people making claims that were brought up by the questioner -- not targeting her or even being serious.
