I tried these for the first time this year in repurposed grocery store mushroom trays with a cm of potting soil and a clear shroom tray as a dome. It worked well for radish and mustard. Kohlrabi I didn't have success with, but it was fun to try!
They are definitely not something I would use all the time. But I do love keeping them on hand to pop them in when I have space. :) Would you try them again or one and done?
I grow microgreens in a regular mictogreen tray that I got off of Amazon. It comes woth a clear humidity dome. I dont usually weigh them down, but I do keep th in the dark f0r the first dsy or two.
I left them a bit and yes some did grow but not much. There aren’t enough seeds in the pods to make it worth it. Most germinate the first time. They aren’t really regrowing, you are just giving any seeds that didn’t germinate the first time a chance to grow
