Just got settled into our new apartment and decided to start the new year with an ambient synth jam. I used the built in sequencer to play the microkorg notes and the sample and hold circuit to play the ms-20. No external midi or syncing was used. Shot with a Canon Rebel T3i. Synths routed through an Electro Voice BK-1632 mixer with a Boss ME - 25 pedal adding delay and reverb effects. Recorded into Logic 9 with additional equalization and effects.

Hey thank you! I can't remember the exact routing on this patch but I know the sound is of both filters self oscillating. The external signal is triggering the envelope. I think the external signal is being fed the output of the S&H which i believe was receiving and modifying the audio from the headphone output, effectively letting me use the sample and hold on the feedback to control the envelope. A lot of times I will route the wheel to the pitch so I can have the oscillator clicking on tracks like this but it doesn't look like I had done that for this one. @@latchwork66 Amazing! Thank you so much for the info. The second track is great too and I should be able to figure out the patch from it. You have made me want a Microkorg as well now though, sounds great alongside the MS20.

@@frankcunkstein3281 The microkorg is really great! I still use it for most of my tracks. It's the only synth I have with patch memory so it's really convenient. It really has a lot of functionality for such a small synth.
