Microlab has the bass (it has bigger driver of course) but lacks the mid. I'd still choose Edifier.

@@Rafael-xu9cn amazing, could you please clarify this a bit more, you said that both of these sound worse than a speaker on a smartphone. in what way do they sound worse? is it clarity and the precision of the sound? and was the jbl any better?

I did not find the track Fury Drive. I want to test her in my box of the Edifier 1280T. But I'm having a good experience with this box. really surprised me. Congratulations on the channel. Solo 6 явно побеждает !!!слушаю и сравниваю на мониторах Yamaha Hs50 Presonus eris e4.5 JBL slr305 Sven mc30 , на всех колонках соло звучат гораздо лучше более сбалансированный , + к контролю на наушниках мониторных Samson , solo 6 лучше.

The Crossovers on the midbass and the highs on the solo 6c are a bit far tuned I mean like its not blending with each of the drivers.. that is my observation and what I noticed while listening. The R1280DB is blending the sound that the drivers produce. Not that clean sound because it does not have a dsp I think but its surprisingly good for the price point.. :)

O agudo da edifier abre em relação o da Microlab não pq a microlab tem falta de agudos e sim pq a edifier não tem grave é nítido não tem peso parece realmente uma caixinha de PC, microlab é mais equilibrada tirando que é mais potente usa um amp ab e tem falantes com respostas de graves mais precisos e maiores.

Essa caixa é horrível. O grave abafa todas as outras frequências e o agudo quando está mais acumulado não se distingue nada. Comprei e estou devolvendo. Nunca mais saio da edifier.

Thanks for the many great reviews! 1.28 Fyri Drive, Solo 6C is very dull and everything is mixed into a "mess", 1280 in terms of price-quality sound is probably the best so far). Someone can say something like that for a price of 100 USD? Write please!

Microlabs sound nice, but the Edifier's are good value!

Although listening to recordings of these two speakers from a third speaker is kind of misleading, you can still notice the main differences of the two speakers in terms of their tones and muddiness. Of course providing that microphone and youtube/third speaker don't lose two much fidelity. And I think this statement is only true for CHEAP speakers only.

I just realized how weird this kind of comparison is: I'm listening to how two sets of speakers sound by listening to recordings of them on a third set of speakers. That's like comparing two monitors by looking at the photos of them on a third monitor (which no sane person does). Doubly weird, I'm listening to them on a Microlab Solo 6C set! :D

yeah it seemed good looking outside but I saw a video of a disassembly of some of its speakers and the internals of their bookshelf speakers are looked like lower in quality. If you prefer a "flat" sound go Microlab Solo 6c. Boosted treble, bass go to other direction. Using Solo 6C for 4 years now, flawless! :D

The sound of the same Edifier R1280DB speakers on these videos of yours is very different. In this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2YeeHq-lEHU.html Edifier , R1280DB sound better (for example, medium frequencies), and in this video of yours ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ApdsaDkvoj8.htmlsi=FanTFdC-ZUplTiE6 The Edifier R1280DB sounds significantly worse (as if the mid and high frequencies are specially reduced). Which begs the question, which video does he believe?

How on earth can anyone possibly tell the sound difference based on listening to this comparison through a smartphone, tablet, pc etc. Totally ridiculous and a waste of time. Stopped watching after 30 seconds. Embarrassing...
