Choosing near-field monitors for a home studio you probably will ask yourself a question, whether you can use multimedia speakers for such purposes. In this review, we will compare two-way speaker systems of the same price range: Microlab Solo 11 and Alesis Elevate 5 MKII. The output power of Alesis is 2 x 40 W, frequency range from 56 to 20,000 hertz. Microlab Solo 11 - 2 x 50 W, and from 20 to 20,000 hertz, respectively. At the same time, the second ones have low and high frequency control, the ability of connection via digital inputs (optical and coaxial), as well as Bluetooth.
