The "Fly" Sub70 ultralight, being flown by Brad Wagenhauser at Brown Shutters farm airfield. Showing the flight characteristics of the aircraft combined with the Aeros Adam wing.
My only negative comment is editing, you could have trimmed that down a bit. Apart from that wow. Great views of a lovely aircraft and amazing countryside.
Amazing video, i am beginner to this hobby and recently started flying. I learned one very important thing from this video that never fight too hard with turbulence, let the wing do its job :) (Sorry about my weak English)
What does one of these cost? Been seeing some that were really expensive . I know aviation in general is but just wondering. I’m a PP, 172- 152 that type of thing.
That will be my configuration soon! 😃 Microlite Aviation Fly, Moster 185 Silent and Aeros Fox 13 TDS (Adam) Looking forward to it. One of the best Sub70 trikes on the market. Well engineered. Loved the method of filming. The camera seemed to be hanging down so as to maintain a level horizon, nice. 🙂
Nice 🙂👍. I have a Sub 70 with just the single surface wing. I think they are the, safest easiest most fun powered flying you can do. for every hour I get flying regular hang-gliders I get two in the air while "Hang-Waiting" for the wind to be between this and this and at the particular direction for your hill or ridge. I love the normal hang-gliding but the waiting kills me. With the Sub 70 any calm day, morning or evening off you go. Easy take off, easy flying and easy landing, they are the biggest secret in relaxing personal aviation. Love the look of yours but the simplicity of the single surface I'll keep 😎👍
Looked like some texture in the air. Have you tried thermaling or engine off soaring? I have a Northwing ATF arriving next week and hope to be able to thermal engine off eventually. Enjoyed your video👍
Excellent 👍 I hear only good things about that Adam wing. What engine and prop on the Fly, seemed to do well to get you up fast? Your only mistake was to cover the solar panels at the end 🤣🤣 Cheers
Nice video on a nice trike, I really like this combination, unfortunately not available over here in GER. Maybe just one small note. My teacher always tells me, to never ever start the engine before unlocking the control bar. He explains like follows. In case you didn't do a proper preflight check or the throttle gets stuck at full power, you might get airborne, but due to stall position of the bar, you're definitely going to crash that thing. Makes sense to me. Maybe complicated with manual starter, better to release the fixation before ignition though. At least when starting the engine alone. Anyways, nice video and keep on going! Always happy landings. I hope to get my license very soon... watching to all this nice content...
I like this minitrike because unlike the others, it has a must lean forward and the pilot is also seated further forward, the whole architecture of the trike makes it lower than a normal trike, you can see that to stay under the wing you have to lean, and I don't know I like the idea of a trike that is lower and closer to the glider, I have flown a minitrke slip for many years. what is the name of the company that makes this minitrke and the data of weight, engine, dimensions, etc.? although I imagine it will be difficult to see it in Italy!
We supply the trikes to suit the customer leg length, we have differen engines that are available, Vittorazi, eos150, Air conception Nitro. Trike weight with 26.5 kg wing comes in at 62kg . The company is Microlite Aviation based in the UK, website: www.microliteaviation.com
@@Microliteaviation I don't fly and I'm 70 years old and I doubt I ever will but looks like great fun, in what situation would you have to throw your emergency powerchute, if engine goes out anyway that you could thermal down safely? Like I say I don't fly but I'm just very curious God bless and stay safe
If you're going to install one, use a BRS. I have an amphibian ultralight, so a chute is pretty much a waste...unless you have a structural wing failure.
Bons treinos
Unfortunately due to the weight of the aircraft 2 stroke is the best option, weight verses power output, but there is a trade off with noise, but when cruising speeds are reached the noise is hardly noticeable
Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view !" Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam ." Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!" Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window ? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?"
We don’t hide our engineering with fairings etc. I will put our trike next to a bare PeaBee any day. There is nothing ‘agricultural’ about our trike. Have you even had a close up look/comparison?
Seems you're blinded by the 'smoke and mirrors' on the Flylight PeaBee and Adam trikes. The only reason theirs looks good is all the fairings, screens and other panels that cover the agricultual by comparison trike that they build. I am up for a side by side comparison any day.
