It makes me feel so much better knowing I’m not the only one who is super nervous about dermaplaning. I stopped offering it due to my nerves. Maybe I’ll do it again someday but I prefer to specialize and not do a little bit of everything (I work with mostly sensitive/rosacea/acne prone skin). Great video and great explanations!

I perform all year around but being careful in the summer months is essential! this was 1 month apart

@@LiaLeigh Thank you for responding! I had one microneedling session done last month and now that it’s sunny where I am, I was wondering if it was worth waiting until October for the next treatment (when it cools down), or doing it sooner than that but trying to avoid the sun more (which is kind of hard to do when it’s nice out!). I do use sunscreen but I’m prone to hyperpigmentation. I have pitted scars I wanted to microneedle but I’m also not trying to get PIH in the process lol

It honestly depends on the concerns of the skin we are treating, and it lasts a while even after their appointment has ended. about 1-1.5hrs after appt

Did you need to numb the skin prior to micro-needling? Or is this nano-needling/nano channeling. Just asking because micro needing is painful due to a deeper depth penetration

Did you learn all of your modalities via esthetician school or did you learn additional skills after school via continuing ed? If you did continuing Ed, could you name some of the training facilities you went to? I am trying to decide between going to community college and getting the basics only or paying a ton of money but getting more bang for my buck at Boca Beauty or Hollywood Institute.

You was useing alot of products just to do the process the most of you ask me I've seen a few other videos even in a pro setting and they didn't use as MANY products as you did ijs alot of that care should be done on a daily doing all that before u needle is just extra I'm guessing
