if anyone is wondering why I'm suddenly using the 'instrument highlighter' feature there are two reasons. It makes it easier for viewers to see what switches and other controls are being used - and because I have come to realize that when you use the 'Lock' setting (no highlighter) some of the controls do not properly function within the sim - per the notes in one of the SDK updates..
Carenado - the developer of this and many other civilian aircraft for flight sim - does a really remarkable job in their 3d modeling artwork department.
