I hope Microsoft is working on feature that allows sharing of page or subpage only as my workflow includes sharing page and subpages only like the evernote.
Thanks for this Andy. It would be really beneficial to integrate the full Outlook calendar within any OneNote page. Such ashame that MS haven't clocked onto this, it would really streamline the experience and boost productivity. Anyone who wants this feature, please convey this to the MS feedback hub on your device.
Thank you for this. Incredibly handy feature. At times I do get emailed in "tech tips" for my tech support call center group with images or PDFs attached. I would copy and paste each time. This greatly streamlines the process! Related note: I recently discovered an Edge printing feature. Sometimes all we need from a 300+ page PDF is how to turn the machine on and that is contained on 2-3 pages. Print those 2-3 pages to OneNote from Edge. Same selection dialog as shown in your video. This should also work for websites pages.
Thanks Andy! I have watched and implemented your PARA and this video. Question. I use ToDo for summary of key tasks. I believe you use categories. Are your categories aligned to PARA or OneNote sections?
Thanks. This was very helpful. Is there a way, when you are composing new email, to Send to OneNote? I don’t see that option in Outlook. I understand you can email to OneNote Notebook address but this approach will not let you select section.
Thank you for another video of super handy outlook and OneNote tips! You were my inspiration to give OneNote another go and I have not regretted it. The workflow to take meeting notes in OneNote and easily share them is terrific. Keep the tips coming. Cheers 👍😎🇦🇺
Agree! I used OneNote early in my uni days, but because I didn't know how sync worked I lost all my notes. Andy's videos have helped me to regain my confidence in OneNote and show me it's amazing capabilities. Thanks Andy!
is this only for business accounts? because I cannot find this option on my 365 Outlook app or desktop. thank you, I really learned so much from your videos.
Hi - If you don't see the OneNote Add-in in the ribbon after you've enabled it, try the following: Goto File > Options > Advanced. Scroll down to "Other" and make sure "Use Send to OneNote with OneNote for Windows 10, if available" is selected. Hope this works.
@@AndyPark365 thank you for the response. i figured out the issue. i was using "Try the new Outlook". Once i switched back, the options and features were there. i hope they are going to improve the "new" outlook. it is so counter productive to take away features, especially integration features. I do appreciate your help !
Hi Andy, another great video! So has this integration changed your digital 43 folder system and meeting notes organization covered in other videos? Those videos still provide great tips and how-tos, but I’m curious if/how your meeting note strategy has evolved. Thanks!
The new Outlook does not have integration with OneOne and IMAP accounts; You had the option to send IMAP emails to OneNote in the classic version. I hope they improve IMAP integration in the new Outlook.
My Microsoft One Note is a newer version and I don't have the Outlook tasks red flag icon anywhere that you showed at 6:33. Any suggestions @Andy? Thanks!
Andy - you do an excellent job explaining how to maximize use of OneNote. Thank You! I am a very strong OneNote user but my email system is currently GOOGLE. I have been thinking about moving to OUTLOOK so I can take advantage of the OneNote connectivity. Do you have a video on this subject? Do you have any strong opinions on me trying to move from Google to Outlook? Thanks!
The American big companies like Microsoft or Apple are too trash to update these apps, which are way behind than the newbie zommer tools like Notion etc. which are not reliable.
Saving and organizing emails as a regular activity, either in Outlook or in OneNote is just a waste of time. Search functions are so good today so why creating a new repository?
Hello Andy, I have one problem, when I click open a meeting sent to OneNote, it opens in the web version instead the app itself, do you know how to fix this? Thanks in advance
Andy: thanks for the video. Would love to see some tips on integrating Outlook for the Web (OWA) with OneNote. I have had to migrate to OWA and much of my One Note workflows have been disrupted.
Hi Andy, when I go to paste the link into the email at 5:54 on your video, there is no avenue to paste. Ctrl-V does not work and there is not a right-click paste option. I've tried this several times and cannot get it to work. Are you able to offer any help?
My outlook email account doesn't look like yours at all. I know I have seen it that way in the past but it looks different now. Given the fact that this is not an older video, I don't know why mine looks different.
Thank you for sharing these tips, i learned a great one.. that i am going to try. I always just copied and pasted notes to an email and sent to everyone.. the link to the onenote page is a great safer. Is there a way to "lock down" those pages? i did not see that tip. Keep up the great tips Andy!
Hi Andy, thank you for this great video. I’m interested to know what software you are using for drawing squares, zooming in and out certain area, and other animation when creating your tutorial videos. Regards
