Microsoft Studio 2+ Amps Up the Power in a Trusted All-In-One Design 

I like how Microsoft does almost everything they can (price, specs) not to sell any of these things

I own the Surface 2, and it's a dream to use--the screen is bigger than you'll need for any multitasking, it's like having 4 laptop screens. The monitor itself could probably use HDR, but the colors are great and the resolution is perfect. The touchscreen works perfectly, esp with the pen, and its zero-G hinge is as good as advertised. And now with Windows 11 it's actually functional as a touch device. Even though it's like a 5-year-old computer now I find it perfectly usable for regular tasks, drawing, and note-taking. The only thing I'd really like is upgradability.

This design should have i9 processors, 32-128gb memory and badass graphics 8-16gb. Reason: you have an allround pc that would be use in different area of field such as architectural engineering construction. Now for me a dom pc worth nothing, too expensive. Something i don’t understand what goes into companies heads when they’re designing product. Even the Asus flow z13 is less expensive and better.

I'm just happy that Microsoft didn't discontinue the studio 2, I'm assuming maybe end of 2023 they may roll out with a 3 or probably til spring of 2024?

Can I change the bottom part and keep the monitor?

If they just sold this as a monitor, it would be a hit product. As-is, it's an overpriced dud.

How is gaming on it?

SS2+ is marginally better than SS2, several years older, and still no dedicated GPU, lacks improvement capability, and cannot be used as an external monitor.... Microsoft missed the mark for the 3rd time in a row with this device...PLEASE some billionaire out there, do this up right and make it affordable, and get ready for the profits

I personally don’t need a computer like this because I don’t need a touch display, but I think it’s AWESOME that Microsoft makes these. It’s a niche product for sure, but a really, really fanstastic idea in my opinion (as are the studio laptops). I really hope they keep their surface line alive because I think there’s a lot of potential there and if Microsoft get a few more things right, they’ve got a superb answer to Apple’s computers, which is a good thing IMO because I don’t like working with MacOS, but I DO need processing power in a portable computer and I value longevity and good product design because for me personally, this is important to my productivity.

It's too risky say that something built by Microsoft it's trusting nowadays
