Today we will share how to fix a Surface Pro 5 that won’t turn on. Through testing with BY-006S, we find that both the charging and power supply are working fine. With the battery installed and the power cable connected, the Microsoft logo shows for a little while but then the device turns off. Check out this video to see how we troubleshoot the Surface and fix the problem.

difficult screen removal, but still mother board removals is much simpler that on iPad, and also no shielding on the motherboard make it so much simpler

hi, my surface works perfectly but doesn't charge the battery anymore when plugged (it's definitely not the charger i tested it on anohter surface) i also replaced the connector inside the surface but it still doesnt charge. i Also noticed a click sound every 1 or 2 second when i plug my surface motherboard . so i think there is an electrical jump or short circuit somewhere on the motherboard but i don't know at all how to find WHERE , can you teach me or link me ressources ?

REWA also have experience with why the touch screen breaks (i mean touch functionality, not broken glass) so easily? I noticed on Surface Display you can't use ISO Propanol. Otherwise the touchscreen will no longer respond. I have the same error on 3 Surface devices! No touch according to ISO Propanol

try to use some a program to recalibrate the touch, i use some ipo to desasemble mine and had the same problem, half of the touch was not working, after use the program its normal

1. Attempts to update it first. You can use a mouse and keyboard since you have no touch. 2. You'll need to try a work screen If touch works on new screen, great. If you still do not have touch, you'll need to begin board level troubleshooting.
