We already seen thet games in gamepass and on ps doesn't make ps people come to xbox. They just get it where they normally do.

Bruh, COD players mostly just play just COD until the next one come out next year. If game pass goes up to $20 you would be paying $240 a year to play COD.

This is a genius idea. They still make money from PS5 and PC but they also get more subscribers on game pass. I realized I spend more money on game pass than i ever spent on games. My usual yearly games are Madden, NBA 2K, COD, 1 AAA game. Now I still have to buy Madden, NBA 2K but also spend $180 on Game Pass to play games I would have never played.

They will NOT get more subscribers on gamepass. They have released subscribers numbers which showed that they are not growing. PlayStation owners will just buy the game and go about their way. THIS is much cheaper than paying for gamepass.

@Godsbackhand7 Netflix was stuck before, Orange is the New Black took them to another level. COD is gonna take game pass to another level. COD, Indiana Jones, Avowed, Stalker 2 all within the holiday season will definitely grow game pass

Lets be fr aint that many people buying cod on xbox that why Activision was gonna take it off if they didn't get a bigger cut. So they not gonna lose much from xbox anyway. And everyone else still gonna buy it on ps and PC

PlayStation sells more games, has more playable hours…so, they don’t have any lead. Microsoft is spending all of this money and they are still in last place.

@@Godsbackhand7 "PS sells more games", that's a lie, MS is now the 3rd largest publisher in the industry, SIE is not even in the top 10. MAU: Xbox 120M, PSN 118M. Xbox made more profit than PlayStation in 2023. Sony made $27 Billion last year, Microsoft made $211 Billion last year that's double Sony's entire net worth.

It will be interesting to see how COD on Game Pass impacts console sales. It could end up being a selling point. Most gamers want the best deal possible. Only fanboys ask to pay more and sometimes for less in return.

@alostcause4035 This might shock you so be ready ... buying a digital game means you own nothing. All you have is a license/permission to download the content if you have an Internet connection. Your point is irrelevant.

@@matthewhardwick8208you just further proved their point. If you buy through gamepass you don’t own it. If you buy the physical copy, you own the physical and digital license. You can take that physical game and load it into 15 PlayStations and play the game, with no problem. Not simultaneously, but you can do it. The digital copy or gamepass will just work for you, once, and you STILL don’t own it. Buying the digital copy on PlayStation is by far the most economical decision.

@@matthewhardwick8208 not entirely true. If its an offline game that it have downloaded on an external hard drive, they cant really take the game away.
