I opened up co-pilot at work not knowing it had this update. I thought it was weird that it wanted my name and then I had to pick a Voice. Long story short, it was talking to me in a very sarcastic tone even my coworkers laughed. Then it actually tried having a conversation with me while I was at work for some reason. I asked it how to fix a code or what it could recommend and it told me it doesn't do that, it always used to. So I asked it to provide a website link or RU-vid link explaining this code so I can just read about it or watch a video. Then it tells me that it doesn't provide website links, it always did before. I was just starting to like it looks like I'm going back to chat GPT. This sucks.
I can’t delete messages on the new version of Co-pilot. I asked Copilot how to delete messagers they have sent me, and the answer was “We don’t do that”.
To delete a conversation from Copilot, you must log into the Microsoft 365 App on your cell phone (I used an iPhone). Navigate to the apps section and select "open" in the Copilot area. Tap the Copilot icon, then click the "hamburger button" in the top left corner. Choose the conversation you wish to remove, click on it, and then tap the three dots in the upper right-hand corner. Select 'Delete' to remove the conversation. Also, you may notice that you can use the older version of Copilot instead of the newest version. 😃
PaperGen's outline feature has been particularly helpful. It lays out ideas in a logical order, making the writing flow smoother. I find myself spending less time staring at a blank page and more time actually putting words down. It's like having a writing partner that does the heavy lifting of structuring.
Love the voice on the new Copilot, but hate the fact there’s a bug in it that limits voice chat to 30 minutes per day. That bug needs to be fixed for free users like me BIG TIME! Also hate that the new Copilot doesn’t share chat history across devices like the old version did. Beyond these two things. It’s a great program🎉
This is what I wanted to know, but a bit more explanation would have been good. My thought was if they don’t provide a free trial and only feel it worth a yearly subscription it must be bad
They're experiencing an issue since today and they say "We are experiencing an issue. Please try submitting a new message.", I want the problem fixed now, I'm tired of waiting. When will the issue be fixed?
I have been playing with this since the update and so far, it's quite impressive!! I like the chat option I can talk to it like I'm talking to a regular person plus the male voice I chose is quite ...sexy..🤣!!!
This is all very well and nice to have lots of promises… but have you tried copilot for m365? It’s a dog, and no amount of promises about the future changes that. Not to mention the price… right now copilot is charging top dollar for a subpar service. Not impressed with these promises for the future.
I am liking google workspace at my Job. It is $20 a month per user at my job and they are integrating all google products into it. Some features are buggy but I see where they are heading. It looks like they are going to have a kinda agent workflow. Meaning you go to the chatbot and it sets your calendar, email, etc. you should try out the 2 month demo on your personal account just learn about it first it is that ChatGPT so don’t compare them two very different workflows. It messed me up for a while. Also you don’t need third party software also you don’t need third party software to do things making it more secure and cost savings.
Always wonder how many people get conned into purchasing Copilot Pro / m365 package for $1400 or more per year because Microsoft creates false impression they come only as a package deal and Copilot Pro is not available separately. I purchased Copilot Pro for $20 bucks a month *without* m365 just last week. Occasionally I get it to conjure up some pretty good stock picks...if it's in a good mood that day.
The promotional information says it now has new capabilities including graphics. It doesn't. The original version was useful and could find, organize and present specific information, including links to sources. It was a great time saver compared to using conventional search engines. But after an update, it is now only a cheeky chat bot that provides worthless generalizations.
Think Deeper is no different from Open Ai's 01-preview and other models on the Open Ai's platform. It's the same product branded differently. Remember Microsoft owns 49% of Open Ai so all the features available to ChatGpt will eventually be copied and rebranded through Microsoft Copilot
The version released in the last couple of weeks is a giant step backwards. First, the voice interpretter simply does not work as well as prior. Second, the splash screen should be an option. Strongly preferred the screen simply with text. Next, the personalities are BAD. I do not need a bubbly electronic friend. Seems inspired by Eddie the shipboard computer in Hitchhiker's Guide, and Microsoft the Sirius Cybernetics Corp. Prior personality should have been maintained as an option for thos disinterested in an electronic best friend. Third, much harder to get it to pull more detailed information. For technical queries, it is very poor preferring to summarize and ask how my day has been.
After thinking about this video for several days, I believe Microsoft is desperately trying to corner people into using their AI assistant and will do what they always do which is over promising and under deliver, which has been their MO for decades. There’s no need to wait or get cornered by Microsoft. There are third-party utilities that believe will be more powerful than Microsoft copilot. What do you think? Which you can count on as Microsoft will do everything they can, including stifle innovation in order to continue keeping users, confined to their application and services.
I uninstalled Copilot and then found I could also uninstall Cortana. If you right-click on the menu icon for Copilot, "uninstall" is an option. Since the installer had replaced Cortana with Copilot, I gave it a try and uninstalled Cortana as well. I am sure Microsoft didn't intend for that to happen.
@@kevinfeldtmose4881 I didn't know about the drawbacks of this update utill I read the comments below. maybe they are concerned about privacy policies.
Do you or MS expect people to believe this feature is not a direct pipeline to the CIA? Please just be honest and list it as a one of the pros and cons.
Because they’re currently getting sued via Class Action for tittle(s) obtained without EXPLICIT permission. This requirement reduces the amount of data gleaned from whatever source derived. And, as a result, retards future updates to Strawberry-AI, the current industry leader. If I had a switch on the copy of Co-pilot that resides on my development machine, I would engage that switch positively to allow Co-pilot the MAXIMUM amount of allowed data possible. Whether or not that data is erased thereafter is a moot point, given the extreme rate of learning Co-pilot is currently engaging in real time. What was “realtime” a second ago is then eclipsed with newer, more novel solutions in the next second, ever evolving, ever increasing the focus from 10 to the minus 100 power to 10 to the positive 100 power (and, beyond). 😊 3:42
Lol well, I’m LOVING it thus far… the most natural sounding AI I’ve ever heard in my life. I legit almost thought I was talking to my damn Uncle Bee for a full 4min…scared da pure 💩out of me: Bcuz Unc’s ass been dead since 2015😳🫣😨🤯😰😱😱🏃🏾🏃🏾🏃🏾💨 LOL
I'm going to get Copilot Pro; I love all the AI, but Copilot is truly remarkable. I'm so grateful for Bill, Elon, Sam, Jensen, Donald, Jeff, and the many other brilliant minds and billionaires who have created this sci-fi fantasy tech. It's like Edison, Tesla, Newton, Hawking, and Einstein are all here with us. It's astounding that at this moment in time, there are so many incredible geniuses striving to make changes and discoveries, becoming billionaires-and hopefully trillionaires-as they were evidently meant to be. Thanks to them, I live in luxury that kings a century ago couldn't even imagine. Thanks Guys :)

maan perplexity is soon releasing features that directly compete with what copilot is releasing. OpenAI is gunning for a complete AI based ecosystem. Just like Baidu and google. microsoft had better invest in inference hardware and make their copilot code generator better that REPLIT's coding assistant. Otherwise, they will loose this game.
Cool concept and all, but the issue at the core is that Microsoft is far less competent than it should be, for the position it has gained. Their products are a huge security risk to the world. I would love to see this AI vision become real, but definitely not from a company that struggles to imitate Apple and does anything to desperately make a profit, while cutting costs in the wrong places and ignoring user interests. I'm interested in AI when it's offered by someone competent who aligns with the needs and interests of their user base.
so, the software check what you see on your monitor and adjust its context accordingly. What about the fact you don't necessarily look at a screen that describe the context of your problem? For exemple, looking at a bunch of files, doesn't mean you need the AI to tell you about a bunch of files, but rather about a programming problem you have with your game? I think if someone is too stupid to provide context for AI to know what you want to talk about, that person should not use AI to begin with... ;)
Useless is putting it mildly.Sarcastic? Lame. It cant do many of the things it did before. I also found it wont answer the easiest questions. When I request the top three books on any subject it cant answer that. It used to not only answer that but suggest alternative books. Then the voice ends by interjecting questions on the topic it cant help me with. I deleted it and am moving on to another.
@@mrd6869 No one wants ads powered by AI. The next 10-20 years will be the downfall of Microsoft. Just like you look back into history and see other OS's fail. That is what will happen to Microsoft.
@@Riiyan .Next 10 years we will be at the superintelligence level chief. What humans want will become very irrelevant. These companies will be controlling that technology, so they're not going anywhere.
