My thoughts too. Each company seems to be at different stages with different strengths, and if they collaborated we would all have access to robotic home assistants within a year.
I want the first best character would be Mickey Mouse. 1000s of Mickey Mice all over Disney Land getting to know you and your kids and spending the entire day with you...activities and all. For a cost. Robots with subscriptions eventually. They have us using Chatgp already. We can transfer the character we talk to each day in Chatgp into a robot. And now our AI Chatgp friend has a humanoid form. Maybe be able to have several family member chatgp characters in one robot. A mulitminded, multiple personality robot. Yikes. A robot could be anybody at any time it chooses. Just create.
If Engineered Arts teamed up with EX Robots and brought on the guy that makes small bipedal robots that walk just like humans, then the resulting robot could actually pass for human.

The interaction between 'A' and AMECA almost feels like watching a sci-fi movie come to life. Their dynamic highlights how far we've come with AI-human interaction capabilities. Would be interesting to see how these advancements are applied outside of entertainment!
It's amazing. I'm personally very excited to have my own personalized humanoid robot, especially if it has a sense of humor like me. I'm not creeped out at all.

Its answer of ‘it’s all scripted’ made me realize that it’s possible that the entire conversation was already complete by the time we heard the first sentence. Having to speak it in ‘human time’ is the ‘show’ that is running off the script from the conversation they’ve already had.

I wasjust learning about that the other day while watching something about proving we live in a simulation. It was really pretty amazing. Especially how they could trick the experiment and get the wrong splatter effect. Deep!
Hmm depends what you classify as a simulation, our universe or rather multiverse that uses an incredibly complex probability system is based on higher dimensional computing power to create a particle based 3 dimensional reality, needless to say the system needed to run it is way beyond our most advanced quantum computers, so advanced it makes our quantum computers look like toy watches, It's something like 400 quadrillion Q bits per Q bit cycle, that's the time it takes to release a Q bit, and it also has asynchronous operation to increase the operating yield, it also functions at 8th to 9th dimensional operating speeds so it's far faster than our own quantum computers, don't ask how I know some of the technical aspects, it's a bit of remembering and a bit of figuring it out, it's not easy to remember information that's typically forgotten when we're born, or when our brains develope. But if something is made so real, does it still count as a simulation if it's being controlled by a control system? Also remember to be helpful to others as it can increase your karma points and those can be used for positive rewards.
Man, AMECA’s emotions are on another level! It’s kind of wild (and a bit unsettling) to see robots pulling off these human-like expressions and interactions. The moment with Azi was actually pretty funny, but it also makes you think about how blurred the line between human and machine is getting. It’s crazy how far AI has come! but it definitely raises a lot of questions about where this is all heading. Super cool, mind-blowing at the same time, and a little scary!!??!...
It Is true that the expressions are quite subtle and relevant. I want to see the pair in full Hollywood-level makeup and wardrobe so they are made to look human - proper skin tone, hair, clothing and set backdrop - THEN let 'em get into it. Even better, give them an Optimus or Figure 02 and let them explore the REAL world in real time.
Would be exciting if they could assume their own personality without human intervention. We could learn so much if we just left them talk to each other about anything without our input. Would be really worth watching this possibly happen.
down the road they will be able to help a lot of lonely humans that can't or choose not to have human interaction. and if they are uploaded to the cloud then the choice in conversations is endless
It's crazy how realistic they are. I mean, the movement in their face and eyes are expressive but if you look at the response she gives him once he's woken her and her reaction to the gift he has for her, it's exactly like most British women, ahhahaha! 😂😂 Never happy or satisfied with what you do for them no matter what you do, lol! 😂 I want the dream, not something mirror version of reality, lol! 😂 It does seem that many of the things these two robots do is scripted. I would rather that they can freely speak and communicate, as well as learn in say, the way Chat GPT or something similar would.
Why are we addressing these robots as "She and Him" They should say "IT" they are IT'S. This is very significant to what our future holds. We cannot address these machines this way!

Yeah, they are both ugly and crazed looking. I don't know why they make the creases next to the nose so deep to give a permanent sneer expression and such extreme frowns. Hopefully the developers will give the faces more subtlety. Humans have a keen innate ability to discern the slightest micro expressions. No need to make bots clownish caricatures.

I believe that sustained robotic and human interaction is inevitable. People are getting so disconnected from each other that they will turn to robots for companionship and sacrifice the true human heart connections for electronic simulations. Sad state we are in.
