Got this from a comment in another post: CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz was McAfee CTO in 2010 when they released faulty update that bricked many Windows XP worldwide under his watch. He seems to have a knack of bricking/crashing computers.
Yup back in 2010, I was working for McAfee technical support. An auto update being pushed to the Anti virus software running on end user computers literally failed to boot. Back those days, we were advised to execute few commands by booting the PC back in safe mode and that way it fixed the problem.
They wouldn't tell you if this was a real hack they wouldn't want to create panic so much for people's electronic money that will disappear or be put into other accounts keep cash at hand people
