Microsoft Xbox One Repair No Power No Beep No 3.3 Volt Rail No 1.8 Volt Rail

Here I try and fix an Xbox One that had no power and no beeps when trying to turn it on. The light on the power brick went straight to orange/red and there were no signs of life from the Xbox. Watch me trying to fix this one and find out what has failed.
My great friend James ‪@TimesWithJR‬ saw this Xbox One at a car boot and the sellers said it stopped working. He rang me up and told me it was £10 so I asked him to buy it for me. I paid him a £3 finders fee (because I am tight) and collected it from him at the next car boot.

This looked quite interesting there Lee i guess these power issues can sometimes be hard to figure out , never the less another good fix you managed to do Lee - Nice 1 mate 👍

Thanks for watching and commenting Chris. This was an interesting one and not a normal repair, just goes to show that looking over the board first can show you where the problem is. Although these components are only a few mm in size so can be hard to spot a tiny pin hole in them.

Good video well done. I still need to practice getting the x clamps on and off i find that part difficult a bit

Some seem really difficult to remove where other can seem simple. Have you tried using the x clamp removal tool? It makes it look easy. I just use a small flat head screwdriver but you need to be careful, one slip and you could cut through a trace on the board or knock a component off.

Great video as always 😎 glad it was a relatively easy fix for you and hopefully a nice but of profit too. I have an old xBox 360 that I plan to use some day when life gets less hectic 😅 PS - Nowt wrong with hope, always a good way to sign off IMO 👍🏼
