I believe it’s the parents responsibility to make sure children understand not to touch tools unless they are working on some thing. If you interact with your children, they will be much smarter. Most parents leave their children to take care of themselves. Those are the ones that will most likely get hurt. so keep your tools put away and use precautions much like you would use to make your kitchen knives safe.

Great review....I have a couple Marfione...one blue ringed troodon and a Marifone First addition Glycon and your right they are hard to fire I have only fired both 3 times since bought,,, but I love them

this is total stupidness that they removed the possibility to install old school glass breaker, because of this is also a scull crasher! especially if you need to calm someone down with a NON-BLADE!

A thing that I do is carry something like a Fenix tactical flashlight clipped into my back pocket. You can absolutely use it as an improvised impact tool if necessary (in the very same way you would use a closed folder), along with it being a source of light--and you can take it places you can't carry a blade, like courthouses and onto airplanes. Blades are things I treat like firearms, as primarily a lethal force tool. Having other options on hand is a good thing. Hope this helps.
