The folks at PVK are honest hard working people who love knives as much as the customer. I buy all my MT blades from them and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Ive had issues with orders in the past and they go out of their way to make it right. I’m a Police Officer and depend on my OTFs and it is so great to deal with these guys without the bullshit. Met Marfione when there was only the Microtech HALO. Bought 3 for 150 each. We were in an Orange Grove where the son didn't want to be a farmer. Still carry Microtech today.

They did a gun safe with all the guns of John wick but being they mostly are tartan tactical those guns never run under about 2000 to get one like John wicks glock for instance you have to first buy the gun which is around 600$ depending where you go maybe 500 area and Taran charges you another 1600$ if you went for the 1911 5000-6500$ I think the cheapest one is about 1300$

You definitely shouldn't feel bad! They are tools made to be used. Why would they be made so nicely for you not to use them. Unless of course you want to keep the value. Personally I think you should just keep using and carrying it since it's yours and you should be able to do anything you want with it!
@@benclark8495 I've been thinking about getting one of those. I just asked and they have some they're about to resell for customers. I just don't think I want a knife I get sad about scratching up. Even a microtech is pushing it for me on the price of a knife.
@@mikecurry6847 hey I get it. Stick with lower priced brands that use better materials than Microtech. Spyderco for example. With Microtech, you're basically paying for the springs and the name brand. They're nothing that special otherwise.
The clones are cool if you just want something to fidget with and open mail or something. But they don't really hold up to actual work. The real ones have a bit of blade play and the slider wobbles a little bit but they lock open really well and the blades are always really good steel.
The clones aren't great but they're still pretty good. With microtech you're basically playing the freedom tax aka labor cost since China couldn't care less about paying their employees. The tolerances aren't great and you're obviously taking a hit in materials but they still function pretty well. Just don't go trying to cut tires in half with the Chinese ones since they aren't built as sturdy but for normal edc use they are actually a suitable alternative if you can get past the slave labor and copyright infringement.
Guess you probably don't know shit about knives then. Your average Microtech OTF cost around $400 the fact that its only $1,250 is fairly reasonable considering its a limited edition with two knives.
Emerald Lx not to mention they use some of the highest quality steels available. On top of being mostly made by hand with the help of a few machines. Also that lifetime warranty really pays for itself. I have a 16 year old QD scarab that this fool couldn’t close using both hands that’s how tight the spring STILL is after 16 almost 17 years now....
Emerald Lx that’s the main reason I haven’t sent anything in for a spa day... they told me it would take up to 90 days for them to return 4 knives but then I learned that older knives have to be sent to their veteran techs which further extends that return period... Have you lost your mind?!! ....$1143.00 for 2 knives, a pencil and 3 coins, you have more money than since if you buy this. The Microtech knives are $280 a piece from the manufacture, so that’s $560, you can buy 5 of the coins ANYWHERE online for $25 and a Saratoga pencil for about $1.50. That’s a grand total of $586.50, and I know damn well that little ass carrying case isn’t worth and extra $561.
Your math and spelling are equal! Nonetheless, yes this is a luxury item, all the items in here are limited custom knives and the coins are only available from Marfione (These actually came before the ones you see everywhere else)
Missed opportunity, they could brand the pencil with continental name, after all you most likely find pencil and pen on a hotel front desk, and many of them is custom order for for the hotel with emblem, name, sometime address of the hotel.
The only reason I won’t buy another (post wick) microtech is because I don’t like how they’re riding on the coattails of John Wick, and ever since the dumb fan boys started buying them in droves, they’ve plummeted in quality. It’s pretty sad. They used to make such nice knives.
That looks all nice and everything. But, except for as a collector piece, what're you gonna do with it? You carry it around, abd lose something it immediately loses value. The best thing is to keep it abd never open it.
They used to sell this on Blade HQ website for $1200 bucks. They no longer have it in stock. Best you can get is some of the coins on Amazon, the Microtech Cypher is not even in production anymore haha
