Can't get flat clip screws for 300?

I use a knife hard at work. I'm tired of the axis lock and want something better. Was hoping this was it but.... I have a dead bolt lock knife and love the design. Now if we could get it with premium materials I think I would have the perfect working folder. Looks like I might just have to design my own. 😂 Great video as always. Luv them knives brother.

I got the frag G10 MSI amazing knife but the centering is off it's kinda driving me crazy but I'm hesitant taking it apart and attempting to fix it ( plus will it even fix it ) thanks for the video

I think the screws help protect the finish somewhat. I don’t have one to check the lay down tolerances but seems like it would. Carbon fiber would be cool. Top shelf would be Titanium frag handles. The newer generation of the MSI also added a couple screws up front by pivot mid section. Looks a little more beefy. Always appreciate your knowledge and vids.

Hrc would be nice to know. Any flex in the G10? I just got an FRN version, great knife.

Just got mine. ..they mistakenly sent a partially serrated one, I ordered plain edge...but, I didn't complain because its still a great knife

I don't trust that lock you can see a gap you seen how it's supposed to function properly the lock should be seated all the way up in the front give it a spine test keep bandage nearby $200.00 piece of crap

no i’m afraid it’s not inexpensive.you can get an ultratech for that price. microtech is way way to expensive for what your getting. it’s a label. your paying for a brand and a name.

I have been trying to figure out the difference in the MSI line. I did a review on my MSI and it was brought to my attention that mine has extra screws by the stop pin. Im guessing that’s something extra they added? I thought really the only changes they made was to the clip.

Someone on RU-vid was raving about the jeabrother knife on Amazon saying it’s action was better than the f5.5 . 3 times this week I heard about that thing .

I like the stitch design . As a user it feels and does the knife things well . People freak when it comes out though . It really does fire like it’s on sauce . A flipping version has to be awesome ? Anyone

Microtech: G10 + M390 = $300 using flat screws = + $50 having a spring action that is not mushy and gives you a satisfying reverse flick = +$100 Using micarta or CF = + $100 Using titanium = +$200

Do you know the size of the bearings? Just wondering if skiff makes that size bearings or like you said we could try bronze washers. Thanks!

if knife center is selling it for $190.00. you know they are picking them up for less than $100.00. which means your $300.00 plus dollar ultratech was bought for under $200.00. which means your $500.00 plus dollar combat troodon was bought for $250.00 less. yea now how much do you love microtech

Definitely interested in the Rc of these ram lock m390mk knives. If they are ht'ing the better and to a higher Rockwell then the stitch would be a good one to get.

Has anyone replace the factory bearings with skiffs?

I love the looks of the MSI, but I just started research and have found four (4) knife reviewers who report Ram-Lok failures ( knife becoming unlocked ): Neeves Knives, Stassa23, CuttingBoardReviews CBR and Mitch Bollig - Snap Reviews. I’m continuing my research, but I’m getting the idea that the MSI Ram-Lok needs more attention by Microtech.

I found one @ knife center for $386 + tax = $415. It's not a cheap knife, maybe on full release it will be cheaper but being made by Microtech I doubt it. My example had the pivot screw so tight the blade wouldn't open without both hands and the bearings had scared both liners. I returned it because no matter what I did it felt like it was running on sand.
