I went through several silly suggestions until l got to this one! Did as directed, and works like a charm!! Thank you! 🙏🏻 Wife was having Thanksgiving in April, so pressure was on to get the microwave usable!! Thanks again..😅
THANK YOU!!! I am so grateful to you for taking the time to make this video. You've saved a lot of people a lot of money. My Kitchen Aid microwave door fell off. I reattached & reset it, but the internal light never shut off & the panel said "door" when trying to use it. Your video saved the day. Again, your kindness + knowledge are appreciated!
Happened to mine an hour ago. Won’t run. Door message show up. Watched your video and followed your instructions, wow ! It’s work now ! Thanks and Salute 🫡
This is now the third time this has happened to mine. The first time one of the springs completely came off and had to put the latch back together. The second time just taking it apart and putting it back to get her seemed to work. This time I found your video and have lubricated the latches. Let’s see if it lasts longer this time. Either way, great explanation and instructions. Video saved for next time! 😊 Thanks so much for posting!!
There must be a place in Heaven for you for the help you give to others ! I was ready to replace the switch and found your video--it WORKED !! Thank you so much for your time and info.
I wanted you to know, I did not remove the cover, I unplugged it, opened the door, then sprayed into the openings and the push button, 3 switches, then opened and closed the door several times, let it dry overnight(don't know if that was necessary} since the contact cleaner dries right away.
@@ApartmentMaintenancePro thank you very much I just got done working on my microwave it works like a brand new one open the door light comes on done 10 times that's good thank you very much showing that I like your videos
All silicone lubricant is a dielectric, so I wouldn't recommend putting that into micro switches. CRC contact cleaner or WD-40 contact cleaner would obviously be preferable.
I did this, and when I plugged the microwave back in, the light won’t turn off and the plate is constantly slowly turning. And, of course, the microwave is still not functional. Help?
