The second line is key. There's nothing worse than lazy, out-of-touch comedians (and commentators) pretending it's society that's the issue and not their inability to meet demand for well-written jokes that don't just repeat stereotypes or worse. Despite easy criticisms of the show as a whole, SNL has been on point with this for a while now.

It's seriously not hard at all. The only people who complain about this kind of stuff are the people who just want it to be okay to say the bigoted stuff without consequence because other people used to not have a voice in how they were depicted or made fun of.
