Hi! I own the X-tocuh and MR18 combo. Most buttons on the X-touch work by default when used in live setting. However the transport button section does not (well, it wouldn't be able to do anything with those buttons anyway in a live mixer). Straight out of the box you can't really configure anything on the X-Touch, i mean like remap buttons etc. However OsiMidi system does have that function I believe and you can make lots of great stuff with that. But I haven't tried enough, can't get it to work with Osimidi at the moment

That is too fancy to control X-touch. $1 cheap LAN cable would work for control X-touch. Fancy Digital Snake is for M32C to DL32 connection.

I have total 16 of P16M Personal Monitors. One of 'em are mine. In fact I've full size M32 and X32 as well.

I bought a wireless audio link (stereo) for a little under $100 on amazon. It works fine. It is two units, a sender and a reciever. They have RCA connectors. I'm using it with an M32R, which has a pair of RCA outputs on channels 5&6 of the aux output section. On the other end (receiver) the RCA's are feeding a little headphone amplifier. I keep the sender hardwired into the rack. The receiver end is carried in a little case to the gig and set up with the headphones for use at the mix position. The sender end is plugged into the headphone jack on the M32r. So when ever I solo a channel or whatever it gets to my ears in the back. Just look up wireless audio transmitter receiver and you'll find several options. I chose one that advertised a 320' range. I think these were originally developed for old people so they could watch television and use in-ears without stringing wires across the living room. (I'm 65)

For ipad or use any smart device for remote that you need a wireless network. It doesn't have to be expensive one.

매우 잘못 알고 잘못 이해하고 계신듯 합니다. 제품의 리모트 프로토콜과 Dante 는 전혀 상관이 없습니다. M32/X32 계열에 Dante 카드를 이용하였을 경우 클럭 마스터는 단테 카드(Brooklyn)이 되던가 외부 강력한 클럭을 발생시키는 장치가 마스터가 되어야 합니다. Dante 니까 당연히 Cisco SG300 이구요. M32/X32 리모트 기능을 쓰는것은 단데가 아니자나요. 그래서 iptime 등 저가형 공유장치에서도 연결할 수 있던겁니다. 단테와 단테가 아닌것에 대한 구분이 명확하게 있어야 합니다.

@@lksz1412 콘솔 리모트 프로토콜은 각 콘솔 제작사 고유의 형태입니다. DANTE, AES50, AVB 등의 네트워크 오디오 프로토콜과는 다릅니다. 문제는 그것이 제각기 다름을 인지하고 있어야 한다는 것 입니다. 인지하지 못할때는 인적 재난상황이 발생합니다.

@@sirmacho 예. 그 차이점을 좀 더 숙지 해둬야겠네요. 채널에 올려주신 영상들이 모르고 볼땐 그냥저냥 지나쳤었는데 알면 알수록 놓치고 있거나 잘못 생각하고 있던것들을 되짚어 볼 수 있네요. 다른 채널에 어중이떠중이들이 어디서 그러타카더라 하는것과는 퀄리티 차이가 어마어마하네요.

X-touch 펌웨어 업데이트 via USB미디로 하셔야 합니다. 그래야 붙고 그렇지 않으면 붙지 않습니다.

Yes you can do it with your Ipad or Android pads. You just need an IP adress.

1. use proper wireless router. 2. Use that router not wifi 3. match address just like in video 5. update your Xtouch via midi

​@@sirmacho so if on the ipad app I've got the details on channel 1 and I select channel 2 via the Xtouch, I get the details of channel 2 on the ipad? That'd be awesome! On your video we only see that the faders reacts (which is the least to expect ;-))

@@AlexCailliau Everything is in the video. There is no hiding or secret. You just need a wireless router. You can control your M32s and X32s via Xtouch, PC, MAC and ipad. You can download their application on Music Group homepage.

I think we don’t understand each other. In the video I don’t see the details of a channel on your laptop and I don’t see the switch I’m looking for. I really mean that the detail view (EQ, comp or bus send) switches on screen when you select a channel on the xtouch. This is not something I see on the video (please if I’m blind, gimme the time stamp ;))

@@AlexCailliau For any reason, you need an M32/X32 series console or controller to synchronize your Xtouch and iPad. And you must have a wireless router. The application required for iPad is M32-MIX. Also, after purchasing the Xtouch, you must update the firmware, but you must update it using the MIDI terminal.

M32C would works

The m32 does all the actual mixing and routing. the dl32 is just a simple digital snake. The x-touch is just a simple fader board, it doesn’t do any mixing by itself

Isn't there solo button on the X-touch?
