True story: I saw MADJB had a new video out and it was "Paradise By The Dashboard Light," and all day I was looking forward to listening to it after finishing work. Then after work I looked for it, and it doesn't exist. I think maybe I dreamed it? I realize I should blame my brain for this but I'd rather blame you.
Ken showed us with Danny's Song the beginning of his beautiful voice, and I'm very thankful he doesn't crash into a tree in every MADJB video and gets to finally finish songs
Het Hot American Summer is hands down my favorite film of all time. Thank you guys for making it! thank you for the cool tunes! Send my love to the band, the crew behind the cameras, and the cast and crew of Wet Hot and the State. yall are hilarious in just the perfectly weird ways my brain works!
Wet Hot was on constant replay while I was in college. I am so thrilled to have discovered your channel! Also, please please put out some vinyl sometime. I will hand over a large portion of my disposable income for any and all records you produce.
Look Jane on its own would be amazing but a three track run of Jane, Turn Me Loose and Higher and Higher (call it the Wet Hot Run) would fuck my life right up
Enjoying your videos and covers. I think you could do some real justice to "Our House" by Madness. Looking forward to more music and maybe you'll make it to the middle of the country sometime... K.C. area. Cheers!
I don’t even remember why I asked if I was having a stroke! I wasn’t! It’s all good! Edit: Oh wait I know! It was on your Band Practice video that was so trippy I thought I was losing it 😂
I was living overseas in the mid to late 90s and never really knew these guys from The State (I still have to Google the name of that show). I came across David playing music on Paul Schear's Twitch stream and he seemed like a decent, talented guy. So that's how I arrived here as a fan--not from the comedy resume, but from my favorable impression of David as a solid musician who also seemed like a regular, decent dude. And that opinion has been reinforced by the awesome people and performances I've seen with this band.
Glad to have the secret of Craig's sweet moves finally unlocked. Now tell us why Paul Rudd is the same age as you guys but also somehow 15 years younger?
I very much enjoy your jams. I was a bit surprised that none of the most asked questions were about what your neighbors think? It's obvious you write your own jokes, but corny can be cool. I won't make a request, but Never Gonna Give You Up would be a good choice. Ken's got the look.
You think its ok to just breeze past sweet teddy p like that. To heck with you guys. Not even sure why I watch this hot pile of talent. Give us more P!
we play live all the time! See these playlists for example are ru-vid.com/group/PL_309JBrDGAf1L3n2VMyhFzAeKHBbtd8m&si=1tpATYnJNElwGv1Q and ru-vid.com/group/PL4GxXDgbI-n3L4XRIJZQ1YSGU_qVr6CNi&si=ewy6fifrmxgc8ARz
Definitely do an OG jamband cover of the Grateful Dead. I recommend Touch Of Gray simply because it's their most short song that actually got radio play. You guys would crush it with your high level under appreciated production values. Also what will it take for you guys to come to Canada? Ottawa in particular.
You guys are over middle-aged. If life expectancy is 76, then about 40 is middle-aged. Some of you guys are almost to the 55+. Which would be senior citizen dad jam band.
I love great cover bands ... at least when their frontmen aren't being jerks on worthless faq videos. Can't get enough of Sweet Teddy, Jordan, Jon, Red Kestrin, and Allie-in-motion (+Weird Al!!!), but you should lose the ass-holery and replace this drunken faq with something likable as we see from the Band Geeks (www.youtube.com/@RichieCastellano) or Leonid & Friends (www.youtube.com/@LeonidVorobyevandfriends). And of course, you always need more cowbell!
