guys this is very easy achievement if you cant kill them all at once and they kill your animal just fast travel at the tower back again fast and grab another caragor the clock its still running from before so after you complete 30 you get the trophy you can even do these fast travel 2-3 times and kill the same 2-3 groups in the start you dont need to run until the last camp. this is how i did it
I paused the game after every encounter to make sure I went the right way. I still got the achievement so I think pausing the game pauses the allotted time.
Got Platinum Trophy thanks to this video. Keep up the good work. P.S if you liberate let's say less than 30 slaves and still have time left you can simply fast travel and continue, I got it this way by accident.
Thanks man! I got the game super late because it was on sale for 5 dollars and I had nothing else better to buy. This was my second to last trophy to the platinum, and the one after this one is the Outcast missions. I platinumed it today and I feel proud of myself. Cheers to you, and Mordor and the Uruks shall be erased from Middle Earth 🌍
I finally got it right after I posted this. Took me about 15 tries >.< Never seemed to be enough slaves on the same route this guy in video even though I made sure it was day. I hit "advance time" on the Forge Tower a few times until it was dawn and then the route finally had enough slaves. Might just have been luck
This game is so good! Finished the story and side missions and stuff in about 30-ish hours over the course of a few days. Haven't played a game this much in this short a time in a long time. I'm just sad it's over.
Don't fret my friend! DLC on the way, I have to totally agree too. Lots and lots of fun, wish they had a third location or where you could actually fight the last boss rather than click buttons during a cut-scene for a better climax. Still amazing though!
Yeah that was pretty much my only complaint with the game, there weren't really any "boss" fights, per se. But I can let that slide considering how great the game is, definitely going to grab that DLC when it comes out!
Another one of the somewhat frustrating/buggy trophies on SoM. Failed a few tries due to occasional empty camps / captains roaming (one happened to be beast killer) or other caragors running around killing everything anyway. Just a handy tip though keep an eye out when you 'liberate' the camps because sometimes the slaves run off and uruks chase them and they wont count as liberated until those uruks are killed.
*You're You see, "Your" is a possesive word, meaning you use it when something belongs to you. (I.e "Your pet cat.") While "You're" is used in a confusing manner. the ' symbol means that it is two words combined into one. (I.e Can't and Can not.) so, "You're" means "You are". Still confused? Just ask.
After three tries I still couldn't find the second group and get the trophy so I had to find an alternative one but other than that, it's a good guide. Thank you!
Tried recreating this step by step, turn by turn. You got lucky with two random walking slave camps but other than that incredibly useful video guide. I had previously tried this in other areas for hours without results. Thanks for the vid.!
Thank you, this was a very good guide. I love this game and I am replaying it to get 100% achievements and all I had to do was watch your video once and follow along. Amazing!
Thank you for this. Watched and read multiple guides on this achievement, but all were utterly useless and didn't work. However this is the one that finally worked to give me the achievement.
Jesus this shit is extremely luck based. I went around the same areas and only found small groups. I've even had to double back cause there were no slaves present and that burns time. Last fucking achievement i need and i doubt i'll ever get it.
I feel bad bro because I got it so easily on the first try. I found a very large group after liberating some smaller ones and the trophy surprised me out of nowhere.
I've think the highest I got my slave counter to while riding was around 80 and I never got the acheivement. I just got 50 and still nothing. makes no sense
Yeah I know i should have the trophy as well, i know i've done it correctly several times(last trophy I need as well) even manually counting the slaves i've saved, but It seems i'm failing by the fact that I get close to whats supposed to be 30 then all of the sudden I can't find any. I know i've definately done it correctly at least 3 times but still no trophy, making this infinately more frustrating. I wrote all this then literally half trying for another hour and I got it. Complete luck.
thepkingmaster Three things the vid fails to mention: 1) At the beginning he starts at a Forge Tower. On the map to the north east of that tower is a ruined tower. East of that ruined tower is a white area and next to that is a second white area with a black circle. That area around the circle has 5 more to add to the beginning of the run. 2) Not all slaves will flee. I took several attempts and some slaves just continued working like no one's business. 3) FAST TRAVEL back to the starting forge. 180sec = 3min you have plenty of time to find a second caragor and start the path again. The achievement is for riding on a caragor not one single caragor. It is how I got mine. Hope it helps.
Thank you so much for this video 👍😄 I followed your path to a T pausing the game and your video going back-and-forth and the Trophy popped for me the second try! so glad the 180 seconds was in game time and not real time LOL 😁
Dhrox PSN just keep on pausing to see whee he is going btw if you are still stuck i would recomend upgrading your arrow campacity and the slow time to make the duration longer so it is quicker to pick off uruks and pausing doesnt matter so dont worry about that
It is bullshit. I've gone to every location this guy did, and only found three slave groups. And those groups only had at best three slaves, and one group didn't run away after I killed all the orcs in the area. And I know it was the correct time. I think I just got a faulty game, because this is just one of the many problems I'm experiencing.
Good guide. Easy to follow just step by step, you can pause in menu (gametime is stopped), watch where to go for next group, do it in game, go back to menu, watch video for next group, etc...
You dont have to kill them. All you have to do it make surr you at least hit the slaver uruk. Either hit him once with the sword or with the caragor. Just so it says slaves liberated. Saves alot of time. Also it unlocks at 180 sec. Just did it and it didnt pop until after i traveled back thinking that i didnt do it like 15 sec later i got it. Thanks. For the video.
Really? Because it took the guy in the video 120 seconds from the time he started hitting Uruks and then it gave him the trophy. Why would it wait the full 180 to give it to him? There doesn't seem to be a point to that.
Well because the requirement is 180? Im just saying how i did it. I didnt waste time killing the uruks. So i had a bunch of time leftover and it poped up when i fast traveled and was looking for another caragor to start over, thinking i didnt do it at first.
Very helpful, did it on my second attempt, the first did not seem to count because I was pausing in between the locations, but its pretty easy and straightforward following this video.
Got it when I had the game paused while thinking that id surely gone the wrong way. Ended up just randomly killing uruks in the stronghold at the end. Thank you very much Powerpyx! This game's trophies were mostly fun to do.
2 things 1. Can be done on a dire caragor 2. You can pause the game in between spots to save time while watching his video . Thx m8 got it on my first try :-)
Got it! Took maybe 10 tries, but my biggest suggestion would be to not panic in every little scrimmage, but just go smart and make sure you circle around the slaves so you get the Liberated credit.
I was following this guide with precision, but then two captains were on my way by the end of the guide. I stopped to kill them, but they killed my caragor. So I fast traveled back to the tower, and advanced time twice (so it becomes night, and then so it becomes day again), and I started over. The achievement popped when I freed the first set of slaves. It seems it starts to count as soon as you free the first slaves, no matter if you fast traveled or not. Just make sure you don't quit and reload the game.
This really helped me a great deal, thanks for that! This was the last trophy for me to get so I'm now at 100% and have another platinum trophy, thank you very much!!
Thanks for the video. Was by far the hardest trophy. I think abit of luck is involved because I had three large group close to each other then just needed a small one. But the video helped heaps.
Thanks for this only had to try twice a damn captain messed it up had to hunt around for roving caravans on slaves being transported ty for helping me liberate em!!!
Honestly guys, don't even follow this. Procs to this guy doing the guide, it's good. But really, take a caragorn at one side of the map, and ride it along killing any uruks you see next to little black arrows (slaves) and you'll get the achievement. 2:30min is more than enough time to ride around searching. Got it first try.
All you have to do is everything you see in this video. I did it after memorizing what paths he took basically recreated everything I saw. Got the trophy.
