Dr. Shadee Elmasry was born and raised in New Jersey. He began studying the traditional sciences rigorously at age eighteen after a summer in Fes, Morocco. Since then he has studied all over the world including Hadramawt (Yemen), Mecca and Madina (Saudi Arabia), London (UK), Cairo (Egypt) and New Jersey (U.S.) under several luminaries of our time.
Dr. Elmasry traveled to Hadramawt, Yemen to study Islamic spirituality from the venerable scholars Habib Ali al-Jifri and Habib Umar bin Hafiz. Under their tutelage, Dr. Elmasry studied from the works of several traditional masters including Imam Abu Hamid al-Ghazali, Sheikh Ibn Ata’illah al-Sakandari, Sheikh Umar al-Suhrawardi and Sheikh Abu Talib al-Makki to name a few.

It was mentioned in a hadith that imam mahdi (as) will come from east...it does not really mean that he is from the midle east..maybe south east asia..who knows? Allah hu alam

shukran ,,,i had a feeling u know already also who is the true mahdi ..but not revealing its true identity....coz its best for her and for isa..the shatra bint will comeback together with isa so the revelation again will come true ..in sha allah may allah hasten her coming back for she is sick and tired shufi peoples cruelness and greediness...

@@shawncannady5390 yes coz some Hadith been corrupt when it's translated ...but now some scholars correcting it that's why some scholars knew that the shatra bint Akbar is the true Mahdi to that Allah sent for mankind...

The " Mahdi " figure doesn't want the job so he is being forced and pushed. He will not claim to be the Mahdi, everyone will tell him " too bad buddy, you are it ". The coolest thing though is this saying: " The Manifestation of Glorification without indication " (Ali). We all need to sincerely make dua for this guy. The most serious dua ever. If you really think about it he will have the toughest job over all Messengers and Prophets combined. This is not a regional or cultural thing the others faced. This is world wide. You get it? The entire world.

Why u forgot the hardship that Isa got at the hand of Jews...who had a very tough test from Allah ...west libon is correct...the task that's Mahdi gonna faced on the future are very toughed ...but she had no choice ..no one is deserving to replace her..and it's Allah who choose her..Allah told the shatra BINT ..she was created to be the ruler of mankind to prepare everything until Isa made the last fajr prayer

True,,coz Quran and Islam is already done and the coming of any prophet Allah seald it as Mohammad died ..Mahdi is not a last prophet coz the Mahdi is come first before Isa and Mohammad exist...

What u said is true..and that obligation is really scary to the shatra BINT ...but she also know once Allah sent her back she need to just obey Allah .and accept that mission...the mission that many wanted coz they thought they will get huge money on it .my goodness..there's no prophet and messenger of Allah became rich ...and live in a luxury life...but they want it to continue ruling mankind on a corrupt way...no mercy human...

just because an army comes from Syria doesn't mean it is a Muslim army, this is guesswork! Please don't make things up. There are several armies in Syria, including ISIS which is American, Israeli, NATO compiled. They are looking for Imam Mahdi (as)and they are the most likely army to come for him when he is unvailed.

True,,coz people created in their mind and image of their Mahdi ...so far from the Mahdi that Allah introduced in Alqassim Saudi Arabia last january.2018...the true Mahdi is not a rajal....she's a weak BINT...in their eyes ...but they didn't think her mind and will said is through what Allah told to her ..most of imam and Arabia really didn't acknowledge the shatra BINT as Allah sent to guide Muslim nafar..so sad to say it..but it's really true

@@mirzamanan9308 In Islam lineage is from the father, so even if you have an arab father and african/european mother and he looks african/european, he is still considered an arab. Only Allah (glory be to him) knows matters of the unseen.

Muslim futurology seems to be a budding cottage industry. Ahlus sunnah are not waiting on the mahdi (maybe the ikhwanis are). But seriously, we are supposed to seek out the sufi Habib Jifri for mahdi verification?! May AllahSWT protect guide and have mercy on the ummah of Rasullulah SAW.

If you are wondering where the black banners are, take a trip to kerbala (iraq) during ashura and you will see 26 million people marching from najaf to kerbala with the black banners in hand.. millions walk from khorasan (iran) directly to kerbala for days with the banners held high... mashallah what a site it is, the largest human gathering in the world... hardly known or publicised, amongs fellow muslims and the world at large.... go to pakistan and see the black banners hung outside the houses of the momineeen... when the call of imam mahdi (a.s) is heard these brothers and sisters will all go to the mahdi with banners in hand... for they have been waiting with those black banners for centuries.... inshallah may allah (swt) hasten the reappearance of imam mahdi (a.s) and may all muslims and all people of faith and conscience come to the call of imam mahdi (a.s)
