Below is the full Substance Painter to HDRP export process. This will also be in text in a PDF in the Production folder on the google drive.
SUBSTANCE PAINTER TO UNITY HDPR EXPORT PROCESS
Under Export Textures, go to the configuration tab.
Create a new preset and set it up like this:
CREATE OUTPUT MAPS:
R+G+B+A named Mask
RGB+A named Albedo
RGB named Normal
RGB named Emissive
ASSIGN INPUTS:
Emissive goes into Emissive -- From RGB Channels
Base Color goes into Albedo RGB -- From RGB Channels
Opacity goes into Albedo A -- From Grey Channels
Normal OpenGL goes into Normal -- From RGB Channels
Glossiness goes into Mask A -- From Grey Channels
Ambient Occlusion goes into Mask G -- From Grey Channels
Metallic goes into Mask R -- From Grey Channels
IN UNITY: place a new HDRP/Lit shader on your object
Albedo goes into the Base Map input
Mask goes into the Mask Map input
Change Normal Map Type to Normal in the Inspector. Normal goes into the Normal Map input
Make sure to turn Metallic Slider to 1
