Thanks Spotify for introducing me to my new obsession. I don't know the background to the lyrics but I do suffer from bi polar disorder and between "Some things just don't add up, I'm upside down and inside out" and the last lines which I cried to yesterday "Hey, guys! I've got something on my mind, tick tock, could you take it for a while" I'm in love so much it hurts

This song is superb. All the elements of it and in particular the lift in the chorus, the timbre of the singer's voice, the slide guitar, the guitar in general- all very well mixed and arranged and how it becomes another song at the end. Brilliant

Middle Kids, I'll have y'all know that several years into a depressive snag, I was out distance running to this jam in particular and got so improbably fired up that I found myself jumping in place like a maniac before I gunned it the last few ragged miles back toward the edge of town, appropriately enough. (An elderly Chinese couple happened to be in the vicinity but made no comment on my leaping around like a diseased rabbit.) This is such a fucking gorgeous song, among so many other gorgeous fucking songs of yours.

Great song! I discovered it while listening to Fordham University radio during a long drive down I-95. The song reminds me of another cool, under-recognized song but I can't recall who sang that other song either. Geeesh! It's really tough for talented new musicians to break through. I hope we'll hear more from them. Thank God for college radio keeping cool songs from new artists like Middle Kids on the air waves.

The first time I heard this song was last Friday after my first rave. I was standing in the train station in Frankfurt at 5am with some people I met there and we were all still pretty rollin on Molly. The one girl just listened to this song on repeat and played it super loud on her speaker and danced to it. Everything felt so unreal, but also so magical and beautiful and also I felt like in an Euphoria Episode haha, at least, I fell inlove with this song, especially the last part!!! Now I just connect this song to my first rave, and its such a good memory:)
