We DID have ambition then but now? Not much imo. Steve Gibson is a legend but unless he wants the club to remain in the championship then he needs to seriously invest like he did before he cut the budget in 2006. Why didn’t we kick on from Eindhoven? We’ve never had that kind of success since, and we have never looked likely to have had that success, and at the moment don’t look likely to ever have that success again. If Steve Gibson hasn’t got the money then that’s absolutely understandable, but no one can criticise Steve for what he has done what he needs to let outside investment into the club on a big scale if he wants to properly compete in the Premier League. And success will breed success, so it would be in the long run .
