What can you say... Midge is a fantastic all round artist. Shame he didn't get the recognition he deserved for Live Aid. He organised EVERYTHING whilst geldof took all the credit. An absolute travesty.

I saw Midge this last Friday at the State Room in Salt Lake City. Very intimate setting with him and his acoustic guitar. Appreciate that he would spend this time with us. Next I want to see him with this setup!!!

I have been a fan of midge’s & ultravox since they came out all those years ago, there’s just no words to describe midge that hasn’t been said before about him, I have the upmost respect for him & his singing career threw out the years, I have loved this song & it still gives me the goosebumps when I hear it! Midge you are a musician genius/ legend mate no doubt about it!

Midge is my hero. A consummate artist who always seemed to me to be more about the music than the stardom. People say he's "underrated", but I just think that's a consequence of him never really being that hungry for publicity. Throughout his career, he just did what he did and it was quietly awesome. He worked with other stars and was quite happy not to make a big deal out of it (most of us know about his role in Live Aid and helping write 'Do They Know it's Christmas?', but how many knew he also played guitar with Thin Lizzy for a while after Gary Moore left?). He's had a fascinating career. Who remembers Slik and the Rich Kids? His unmistakeable synth sound and songwriting for Visage? That single he released with Mick Karn from Japan ..?
