I used your shiny card approach and then queried chatgpt for two days and now have a full deck of shiny cards with the spotlight on hover effect, looks awesome thanks for the help.
Now that we have access to all this visually rich imagery, it makes sense that the background will represent a big part, especially for sites. The background itself sets the tone for the site: Colors, branding and even content.
doing mobile-first has its downsides as well, such as not utilizing all the spaces available to you, making the design more "web-looking". most web designers I know start with the desktop version and adapt it for mobile using the stacks and resize approach. of course, this depends on the product itself -- if it's a mobile app like instagram versus a desktop-first app like stripe or linear. in the case of instagram, you can instantly see how it's not made web-first. extracting the backgrounds is no more difficult than before.
@@DesignCodeTeam These designs you guys share are incredible. I'm not a web designer so it intimidates me. I went from Wix to Editor X, and have such a hard time working with Fluid Designs, getting it to work rightt. I'm definitely going to try out these courses as soon as I'm done learning the basics of Editor X. Would love to one day see you guys integrate web desing (specifically Editor X) to these tutorials.
steve jobs was a terrible designer made a very expensive phone blind people cannot use and old people are afraid of touching because it looks fragile and they're right it doesn't matter what would lick if the designer isn't aware of the confinements of the tools the developers or the engineers have to work with, it's not a good design yes, it might be popular on social media, get clicks, be original and look great but if that's the criteria it's just a graphic with lovely colours
