I am (or was) a compIete newbie on the subject. I started this tutorial having already tried a few others with no real success or learning from them. It looked really long and I wondered whether I would cope, but I am so glad that I stayed with it. It was carefully segmented and visually useful. The voice was easy to listen to and there were plenty of examples and suggestions. I completed this all in one sitting and now have the confidence to start on my journey. I have immediately subscribed and look forward to future instalments. Thank you for getting me through .
Thank you, You are the first and only video that I have seen that actually slow down enough for someone to understand how to use mid journey in the first place.
Thank you, Productive Dude for this video. MidJourney is not an easy tool to start. Your style of teaching is fantastic and makes the process easy starting from the beginning with step-by-step details walking through the setup and slowly adding more layers. Great way to teach, well done!
This video is an absolute staple for ANYONE using Midjourney regardless of what you feel your level of proficiency is. The Productivity Dude provides a clear guide to get one going and even touches on more advanced concepts. A little over an hour that is worth every moment. Thank you!
I discovered your channel through a video about notion. And I was surprised by the quality of your teaching, I had even been wanting to learn about midjourney for some time and this video was perfect for what I needed. I will watch all your videos, thanks for the content!
Super amazing info and divine timing as was literally looking for this kind info and super coverage and love how calm ur energy is and the amount of details covered very helpful
Thanks so much for sharing. I now feel confident in using mid-journey. I was blown away by what I was able to create. Once again many thanks. May God continue to bless you.
MUST WATCH, EXCELLENT! I have watched many tutorials that left me no better than when I stated it. It did a fantastic job of explaining everything and giving me, a new MJ user, a much better idea of what can be done and how. What I liked in particular is that it went at a normal speed so it can register for the viewer. Others tend to rush through trying to get it all in as if there was a time limit. I have subscribed and will watch others. Thank you for your time and knowledge.
You bet! Check out my latest video about chat gpt code interpreter! I think it will be right up your alley. I also have a Notion Databases guide if you’re interested in learning Notion :)
Thanks for the great and informative video. I love that you speak slowly and clearly for us newbies, and that you get right to your points without any cheesy intros or theme music. Well done!
Thank you for the in-depth tutorial! This has really helped me learn Midjourney and how to write the different prompts. Look forward to more tutorials from you! Thanks!
Thanks for taking the time to provide this video. I needed a basic class in it, switching over from Wombo. I’m a disabled artist so don’t have a lot of money to throw around right now and this is wonderful to find.
Thank you so much. You have saved my life literally. I’ve been trying to get Midjourney Bot but failed miserably until I watched your video. I was about to give up using Midjourney even though I paid for it. Thank you so much again.
good tip for using the pen tool, use ALT when clicking, and then "split" the handles so you can "bend" the curves from the anchor points, piximperfect youtube shows how to do that
Loved this! Thank you so much. Explained everything so well and I'm an expert now. Agree with another comment, you present it very well, not like some others.
I read some comments about people complaining of not knowing some basic terminology. Sorry people, you have to educate yourself about those terms. Midjourney won't make you an artist. Being an artist is a long process that includes some basic education. Fortunately this is available for free over the internet. If you don't know what 64bits means just google it.
great video. helps a lot. continue that excellent work. by now you can save the images directly from upscaled pictures. just klick on them and then save them from there
Kudos for your ultra-detailed tutorials! I have one piece of feedback: Both in your basic Notion tutorial, and again in your MidJourney tutorial, you don't explain what the tool you're tutorializing actually *is*. So anyone who doesn't know what these tools are, but who does like your channel, doesn't have any foothold into the video, and will probably just turn it off. So for this video, I would've added to the intro two sentences along the lines of "MidJourney is an AI service you can use to generate any image you can think of, with nothing but a text prompt. You interact with MidJourney via Discord, an instant messaging platform.", or some more eloquent and accurate version of those sentences. Something similar applies to the Notion tutorial.
You don't need to change settings to generate images in older versions of MidJourney. Just type --v 4 (or whatever version number you want) at the end of your prompt.
As far as commercial rights (between the free trial and the other plans), AI images don’t have a human to attribute copyright to (the laws may change in the future), so all AI art can be used commercially.
Thank you for the great tutorial! What is interesting, when you create a Midjourney account, you don't create a password, because it all happens in Discord. Then when you decide to upgrade, you have to enter your discord login (email) with discord password on the Midjourney website (their server). So they get your login with password to Discord. A bit something wrong isn't it, or I miss something .. ?
This video was more about sharing parameters and examples of each MidJourney feature. This video is not about prompt crafting necessarily. I will make some more videos about this in the future.
hi been subscribed to your channel for a while, thanks so much for this tutorial. May I ask a question? for midjourney, if we want the image to have a specific style, we have to describe the style words on the prompt since I did not see the exact setting for style, right? like photographic, cinematic, anime, 3d, etc. thanks.
It was annoying when I tried to make myself a Pixar character and it kept adding glasses and making a man and I tried another thing and it put letters like I wanted a red shirt, not random letters… It took 3 hours to finally get what I wanted. I was super specific.
The standard annual plan costs 288 dollars and the basic annual plan costs 96 dollars. I have paid 96 dollars for the annual basic plan already. If i upgrade my account to the standard annual plan will I pay 288 dollars or 192 (288-96) dollars, since I have not used any fast time yet? Or will I pay in total (96 dollars for basic annual plan + 240 dollars for new annual standard plan (which is 12*20 dollars)) for a total of 336 dollars?
That is such a good question. I have a few WIPs that I never managed to fully render, colour, etc. Would be amazing to finish them with prompts but when I tried, it just created a totally different artwork 😐
Since the images are .png, they can have an alpha channel. How can I tell Midjourney to, say, leave off a background so that when I put the image over a video clip, I can 'see through' the background? I've tried --no background. Thank you for what I think is the best 'getting started in Midjourney' video I've come across.
Thanks for your tutorial. I need to be able to upload current fashion designs from creators and they must be close to the original. Is that doable? Thanks in Advance.
Hello, thank you for the tutorial, very helpful. I wonder if you might see my question and respond because I am trying to figure out why I keep getting 4 square images although adding different ar. For tile, 16:9 etc I get the same shape. I am trying to create a pattern in ar 293:151 but not able to get anything near? Any advice why that might be? thank you.
hey donno if you have already solved this issue or not. but you can use the upscale function to change size of a selcted imaged. also if you add --tile in your prompt it will create a repeatable patter that is continues like tiles.
I made an image that I really like and want to print it on a 20x30 inch poster. At 300 dpi that's 6000x9000px. Midjourney image is like 1000px and when I stretch it it looks like garbage.
I see your video is only 1 month old but my settings don’t show what your screen is showing, you have 5 lines and mi e has only 4 so the line that has those photo test and that other one is not available as of 6/10/23 and I also have standard plan.
I would love a walk through of the Midjournet interface ,What are each Icons for or needed for Why is Midjourney integrated with a discord server? I find this integration confusing and I am not alone SO please explain who this works. Is it possible to use Midjounery with out the discord server? So Please Show yourself going through the steps and especially how and where to click to go to the imagine/ prompt page and go slow OK/ thanks so much DOC
That was my goal with this tutorial. I saw that it was confusing to use discord so I tried showing how to hook it up early in the training. What part did you go off track at? If you can drop a time stamp it will help me keep you going. :)
Midjourney should begin making plans to raise their 25 free limit right away. As an alternative, AI technologies like Blue Willow will become more and more popular over time. Blue Willow, in my opinion, will be the one to take down MidJourney
At some point you have to start making some money. Running these models in the cloud is costly. I’m sure Blue Willow will also start charging money soon.
