On this day I went out with 2 friends Harrison and Tom from work. Harrison and Tom both like to take photos so we had to make sure the spots were suitable for both filming and photos. I ended up taking them to a couple of spots I have been to before but there was also a couple of new locations for me. The day ended up being a great day as we saw plenty of freight and even some special movements as well.

Wonderful video Ben. Some lovely looking locations there and one or two of the workings you saw were unique. The back to back power cars were special but the tripple header on the flyash containers was awesome mate, well done for catching that move. Take care in this heat Ben and all the best, Colin.

This video has it all Ben, looks like you had a cracking day out. Well done on catching the HST power cars, another piece of history captured 👍

Thanks mate. It ended up being a decent day in the end which I was happy with. Good amount of freight out as well. Was certainly good getting the power cars. So sad that this week will be the last full week in service. Thanks again. Take care. Ben

Excellent video Ben with such a great variety of locations and workings, I think I sometimes forget how good this area can still be. That 70 sounded particularly good and really liked the shot of the powercars crossing over, least they were regulated before the junction giving you an extra few seconds to get across.

Thanks Kyle. Yes it seemed most stuff was running this day along with some unusual workings. I always think 70s sound good powering and at speed. The HST was a good catch and I just about got across the bridge to film it going away without getting hit by a car 🤪 I usually set up a 2nd cam but it had run out of battery annoyingly. Thanks for your comment and take care. All the best. Ben

A very good video Ben. Lots of good locations and all without OHEL cluttering the scene which makes it so much more enjoyable. Some good shots of all the 43's and the triple header, and as for that Banbury Reservoir working, that's a new place I've never heard of before.
@benGBRf

Thanks Mick. I was pleasantly surprised with this video. I'm surprised you haven't heard of Banbury Reservoir though. I covered it in one of my videos last year during a site visit. I'm sure you commented on it Mick?

@@benGBRf Oh dear, so I did, old age is catching up with me I think. I actually went searching on the internet for the location of Banbury Reservoir + rail after watching your Midland Mainline Madness and all I got was Banbury Reservoir in North London with no railway anywhere near.🤔 Time to ditch that damn google for ever. I have just watched your Banbury Reservoir and Wellingborough video again so yes I do know where it is now, but why isn't it called Grimsbury Reservoir Sidings as that is the reservoir it is next too. Railway naming does leave a lot to be desired at times.🙄

@werringtonjunction who knows why certain names are given to places. Its like Junction Road Junction..... what came first the road or the Junction? 😉🤣

You certainly had a cracking day Ben, I remember this day because I also filmed the treble header down my way. You went to some great places which I haven’t been to except the bridge at Chesterfield, a top all round video Ben, regards Mike. ❤

Thanks Mike. It was an Antman style day with finding as many spots as we could. We didn't really plan it so I think we did well. Thanks for watching and commenting Mike. Your feedback on this video is very appreciated. That triple header was a great catch. Speak soon. Ben ❤️

I came to the seven valley railway twice this week because there’s a 60th anniversary since the last day of passenger service and the line closure at the Severn valley railway so I caught 7714 disguising itself as one of the lost panniers and then back to normality again check it out
